I have written often about the horrible Lee Atwater as the bane of modern politics. You seem such a bigot that you can not distinguish the master manipulator from the people who are manipulated.

There were millions and millions of Democrats who left the Democratic party and became Republicans during the that era. You claim them all to be racists? Will you claim that if Atwater spewed it out of his mouth - that all southerners are guilty of his words?

Ron Paul (and intelligent people) see that the USA empire (as well as the imperialism of Europe) is the root cause of the mess there. The first thing to do is stop interventions around the world.
