LWM: You are beyond hysterical, Bucky. ... Your attachment to Ron Paul is... cult-like. ...
That all you got left? You sure were easy this morning. You are projecting all over the place (have been for hours) and all your on-line buddies got to see you in action for once. Thanks for playing the fool. (no, really)
I like Ron Paul because he is honest and has not changed any just to get more power --- that is rare. But, follow as in a cult? What a fscking Hoot. No politician is perfect, and Paul is not either --- just a lot better that slime-masters like you let on.
If I follow anyone in a cult fashion; I want to pick someone who will not disappoint. I need a dead guy. I pick von Mises or Rothbard.
You certainly are the see-though idiot who pretends to be cultured. I must say though, it was a hoot.
It's possible that my definition of capitalism leaves a bit to be desired, but I doubt you'll find it any textbook. Having said that, I'm not sure you and I would recognize each other's definitions of a "free market."
Well, I guess we will have to remember that our terminology differs as we read each other's posts. I'll try to do so.
LWM, it is fun to see how low you can sink. If you call names for another 50 pages, will you be able to convince yourself that you are not the power loving totalitarian we all see you to be?
Now you quote Hayek as if I care.
If you are just going to do cut-n-paste so you can name call --- at least get some modern leaders. Rothbard for example. Or better yet, Hans-Hermann Hoppe. (read Democracy: The God that Failed: The Economics and Politics of Monarchy, Democracy, and Natural Order)
I see you were able to Google up 'Jacobin' and perhaps even read the article. Then you had the total ignorance to accuse someone who does not believe in even a tiny government of wanting to use government force on others! Damn you are stupid.
In the 20th century, you lefties took out million upon millions of innocent people; all for their "own good" of course. Count me out of your next pogrom.
... resemble a homoerotic bondage and discipline party gone horribly awry. From the eagerness to torture (real, not a sexual role play) to the master-and-servant discipline games, to the participation of actual male prostitutes (James Guckert), to the public boot-licking, it's become grotesque. It seems like they're not even trying to disguise it anymore. Does anyone know the "safe word?" Please!
Yes I do. Impeachment.
Until the politicians of both parties gather the guts to take on an imperial President, we will be forever in sad shape. I am afraid that the Democrats are licking their chops at the prospect of using the power of the imperial Presidency themselves and hence will never impeach anyone.
... All you have to do is look at Versailles media to know the real reason Dems won't move on impeachment--they would be attacked for it 25/8.
It's hard enough just holding hearings, and getting the reasons that impeachment is called for out into the public realm. If they moved for impeachment, the space for revelations would shut down faster than a whorehouse when the GOP leaves town.
But Paul, if not the Bush Crime Family --- who? If not now, when? If the Dems do not try now, then impeachment is no longer an option ever.
By the way; did you know that we can impeach other officials that just the President. Can we not at least have a small fish? :-)
