@Unlovely

Wilson: I'm sorry Obama lied!

Because after all, he did.

Unlovely,

You remind me of a child who spends all day digging through a pile of horse manure, thinking that if he digs long enough, he'll find a pony in there.

No amount of repeating that Obama lied about health care for illegal immigrants will make that statement true. That Obama was speaking the truth has been verified.

Time to find a new meme and a new shovel. And please, don't respond with either "ACORN!" or "socialist!"

Real criticism is welcome. Made up stuff gets old in a hurry. You can post that sort of thing over at WorldNetDaily. They eat it up over there.

@friscorays

I am sure that had the tables been turned and a Democrat had done the same to Bush, the same decision would have been made.

Under those circumstances, the vote would have been unanimous. The Democrats always vote for anything the Republicans want.

Tuesday, September 15, 2009 03:37 PM

@Glock45

I will immediately give his campaign a $100 Hopefully the Republicans will now begin to point out Obama's lies publically as the war chest of the new Truth Czar increase.

Must....not...feed...the...troll.

The Republicans and ACORN

Why are the Republicans so preoccupied with ACORN, anyway? None of the Democrats I care in the least about ACORN, but the Republicans can't seem to talk about anything else.

The comments about this story over at USA Today are all along the lines of "Ha! Congress cut off funding for ACORN! You libs must be really ticked off!"

Uh, not really.

Oops

I created a nonsensical sentence.

None of the Democrats I care in the least about ACORN, but the Republicans can't seem to talk about anything else.

It should read: None of the Democrats I know care in the least about ACORN, but the Republicans can't seem to talk about anything else.

We'll try to do better next time.

Pacificwhim beat me to it

Being a "Christian" means you follow the teachings of Christ, which, as we all know, have nothing to say whatsoever about homosexuality.

We mocked her because she's a narrow minded homophobe. We're smart enough to know that Christ has nothing to do with it. Prejean, alas, isn't that smart.

Original article: Irving Kristol dead at 89

@Old Joe

Of the first 8 posts, only 1 exhibited any respect.

Was Kristol entitled to any? Respect isn't like free samples at the grocery store, you know.

What constitutes "failure"?

What's failure in Afghanistan? We went in there to bust up Al Qaeda training camps and to capture Osama bin Laden.

The camps and bin Laden are gone. We have no further mission there.

That being the case, it is not only impossible to fail, it's also impossible to win.

You're overanalyzing, Glenn

Here's Beck in one word: WHORE

That's all you need to know.

One can only imagine...

...how these people would react if there were an actual, honest to goodness liberal in the White House instead of the middle of the road, let's-not-hurt-anyone's-feelings guy we have there now.

I have a personal boycott going...

...and it's been going for more than a decade. Until Roman Polanski serves time, I will not see any of his films.

Not negotiable.

How amusing...

...that in their pursuit of a more accurate version of the Bible, they're using a translation as the source.

If they were serious, they'd learn Greek, Latin, and Coptic and use the original sources.

Only then would they realize that there are no original sources. Just copies of copies of copies of stories that weren't even written down to begin with.

That being the case, they might as well just do what they're apparently doing anyway - simply making shit up.

Why do it halfway?

It’s basically your big neoconservative three: detention, torture and bombing.

Why don't they just go all out for genocide? It's so much more efficient.

@doubledave27

None of the 'pundits' has even so much as challenged her facts.

She has no "facts." The President has shown his birth certificate. The state of Hawaii has testified that he was born there.

End. Of. Story.

Friday, October 16, 2009 01:01 PM

Yes. Of course. Exactly.

Yes, making sure that anyone in the United States who is ill or injured has the ability to see a doctor and receive treatment regardless of his or her ability to pay is exactly what the Nazis did.

Yep. He hit the nail on the head. It couldn't be more obvious.

Excuse me, but I'm due back on Earth now.

Bring it on

I'm so tired of all of the "sky is falling!" variety of warnings from the tinfoil hat group about the perils of the New World Order.

Bring it on. Then they'll really have something to complain about.

The new apology

Mistakes were made.

If there was offense, it is regretted.

And there you have it.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009 03:14 PM

Until Jon and Kate announced their divorce...

...I'd not only never heard of their show, but I'd never even heard of the channel that carries it.

Great story for publicizing both, I guess.

Thursday, October 22, 2009 11:14 AM

Not going to present Palin in a favorable light?

The only way to present Sarah Palin in a favorable light is to just make stuff up. The truth will always make her look bad.

Thursday, October 22, 2009 01:19 PM

The new site...

...looks junky and cluttered. It's harder to navigate and it's harder to find anything you're looking for.

Frankly, it looks like everything is just scattered all over the page.

Thursday, October 22, 2009 01:23 PM

Where are the positive comments?

Reminds me of George W. Bush after the Republicans were handed their hats in the 2006 election due to public hatred for the war.

"The public wants a surge."

Sure. And like Bush, you telling yourselves that the public likes the new site, even though they keep saying they don't.

If the comments are "uniformly positive", then where are they?

I hate the new site. From what I'm reading, nearly everyone else does, too.

Thursday, October 22, 2009 01:24 PM

Reconciliation? Of course they're loath to do so

It would make the Republicans, Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News angry.

Monday, October 26, 2009 10:40 AM

The White House...

...needs to grow some stones and tell Olympia Snowe to take a hike. It's not worth gutting the bill to obtain her blessing.

Monday, October 26, 2009 05:11 PM

@Glock45

Not gonna feed the troll.

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 11:24 AM

Typo

Reid needs to round up 60 votes, or all of the members of the Senate Democratic caucus -- including Reid, who caucuses with the Democrats.

I think that should be "Lieberman, who caucuses with the Democrats."
