Yet Another Whiner

You were not "outed" because you were a porn actor, or a Republican, or a war-monger. In fact, the outing had very little to do with you personally. You were outed to highlight the astounding hypocrisy of the "moral values" crowd that gathered at the APAC conference last week. Those paragons of moral and family values thought nothing of admitting into their ranks someone who clearly violated every one of the "moral" priciples that they supposedly hold so dear. As you noted, Jeff Gannon, the former rent-boy, was there as well. For this generation of self-righteous and hypocritical Republicans, anything goes, as long as you are a Republican.

And, of course, liberals would not have outed one of their own. There would have been no point to it. Unlike the current religious conservative crowd, Liberals do not pretend to have a monopoly on morality. That is because we, liberals, believe in the priciple of "live and let live". As far as I am concerned, and I am sure that my point of view represents many of my liberal bretherns, people can live their lives whichever way they want, as long as they do not break the law and/or hurt other people. We raise our children to know right from wrong but we also raise them to be tolearnt of other races or other life styles.

This said, your article has a whiny flavor. You are whining because you were outed to the world and you blame it on "anti-war zealots". Well, 66% of Americans have now turned against the occupation of Iraq. I guess that makes you part of a minority of belligerent zealots.

Finally, if you did not want anyone to know the details of your life, you should have remained in the obscurity. You chose to push yourself into the limelight, you now have to pay for the consequences. You chose to ally yourselves with the "moral majority". Do not complain that, in the age of the Internet, your and the "moral majority"'s hypocrisy will be eposed for all to see.

Once a Whore, Always a Whore

Sanchez is a rank opportunist. He wil go far. He clearly has no moral compass.

McCain the Clueless

The moron does not have a clue about what is going on in Africa. Culturally, it is a serious struggle to make men adopt protection when they have sexual intercourse. It is not considered manly. Unfortunately, those men are likely to contract AIDS from prostitutes (who are not informed either) and pass it along to their wives and the children that they are bearing or will bear.

Once again, the ugly American raises its hideous head. Because he/she does not comprehend an alien culture.

McCain would be better off launching a program to combat AIDS in Africa, starting with a solid education in prevention.

McCain The Weathervane

McCain cannot seem to find his own butt these days if he does not consult with his campaign managers. He is a sorry has-been. He is just like an old whore desperately trying to find clients. Pathetic!

McCain the Economist

... does not know his pandering ass from his ideological elbow.

Gregory Mankow -- of former association with Dubbya's Administration and professor at Harvard -- did some reasearch on the topic and found scant evidence that tax cuts help the economy... For the record, every serious economist has come up with the same conclusion.

Combining tax cuts with increased defense spending leads to high deficits. My 10-year old goddaughter figured it out when I explained the situation to her (granted, the child is very bright).

Inhofe is a Corrupt Idiot

Heavens!

Inhofe is both an imbecile and a creature of the oil companies. He compounds stupidity and ignorance with total corruption.

Casting Doubt over the Justice System

Mr. Cummins is absolutely correct in writing that the recent actions of the DOJ cast doubt on all US Attorneys' investigations. Did those US Attorneys who were not dismissed swore tacit allegiance to the Bush Administration to save their positions? Did they behave improperly under political pressure? How is one to know?

I totally agree with Mr. Cummins. The entire DOJ is suspect. In fact, the entire US justice system is suspect.

NcCain is done

Don't McCain's campaign managers read the polls? The more McCain tries to "emulate" Bush, the worse his chances for the presidency become. He just made a total fool of himself "shopping" in Baghdad.

Public Dime

Why is Goodling still on the public dime? She is on a PAID indefinite leave of absence. Why does this woman -- and her lawyer -- think that she can both refuse to be accountable AND collect her salary?

If I tried this with my boss, I would be pushed out the door so fast that I would not have time to take a breath.

Goodling

"But the main point is that they should just simply grant her immunity and subpoena her. Straight up, no arguments, put her on the stand and find out what happened."

I doubt that would make her tell the truth. She appears to be a true believer, a zealot a la Oliver North. She would likely perjure herself rather than tell. That's probably why she is trying to take the Fifth.

Pence the Dense

"The merchant almost refused to take my money. He kept touching his heart and shaking his head no." What this dimwit does not know is that it is a mark of politeness to -- feign to refuse --. You are supposed to keep insisting and the other person is supposed to keep on refusing, usualy about three or four times.

There are a lot of idiots among Republicans (Inhofe being #1) but Pence qualifies in the top five.
