Being Rational Is A Good Thing?

The Democrats tried the rational card in 2002 and 2004. Look what happened to them.

If you want the Democrats to -- again -- lose in 2006 and 2008, by all means, advocate the "rational" card.

The John Cornyn that some of you praise for being rational (self-serving is more accurate) over the immigration issue is also the John Cornyn who, yesterday, derided the Democrats for their plan to capture Bin Laden... Never mind that the fact that Bin Laden is still at large is the fault of a Republican administration. How is that for rational?

The Republicans will stop at nothing to stay in power. Honesty, rationality, civility, and personal responsibility, are not part of their political make-up or strategy. And the public obviously laps it all up.

It is high time that Democrats fight the Republicans with their own weapons. If that means rolling in the muck with their opponents, so be it. The end justifies the emans. The goal is to throw the Rrepublicans out of office. Once the Democrats are back in power, they can revert to rationality.

Give Cornyn the Benefit of the Doubt?

Over my dead body. Cornyn is one of the most repugnant representatives in Congress.

I don't care if he was being facetious. I say, let's beat him up every time he opens his mouth. After all, that is what the Republicans have been doing to the Democrats in the past five years.

Revenge is sweet.

Original article: The "W" Republicans

The "W" Republicans

"...extremely close correlation between the president's image and the overall ratings of the party."

I love it! Even as they try to run away from Bush, they are stuck with him.

Bush meets with reporters

It's official. Bush sits down with "reporters" for propaganda sessions.

Expect more cowardice from the Washington Post and the New York Times in the weeks to come.

Expect the rhetoric about the MSM's negative reporting on Iraq to reach a hysterical pitch.

Push back. Demand why the right-wing media, pundits, and bloggers, do not come up with positive stories, if we are making such good progress in Iraq. Hunt them down. Shout at them. Challenge them. Ask incessantly why THEY are not reporting the good news. Let them know that they better come up with stories that will stand up to scrutiny.

Enough with appeasing the right wingers.

Yahecurb

Scalia is being criticized for showing his utter disdain for American people's concerns, not because he is a Catholic.

I doubt very much that Ruth Ginsburg would be so uncouth as to deflect people's concerns and / or criticism with an arrogant and rude gesture. She, (along with many other justices on the Supreme Court, past and present) has the class and dignity required to sit on the highest court in the land. Scalia, in addition to be a right-wing activist, behaves like a goon.

Scalia is no Christian

From the people in the know:

http://www.born-again-christian.info/catholics.htm

Does George Bush know that a Satan cultist sits on the Supreme Court?

Scalia's obscene gestures

By the way, Scalia is as uncouth as Cheney. Peas in a pod, those two.

Scalia announces his views before oral arguments begin

Just like his fat hunter friend, Scalia has now become so drunk on his own power that he needs to be reined in. He IS compromising the credibility of the Supreme Court. If he does not recuse himself, and I bet that he won't, he should be denounced by his peers and colleagues.

Bill Napoli

Napoli is no longer on the drop-down list under the " e-mail a legislator" list of the official South Dakota legislature.

The psycho must have gotten so much hate mail after his repugnant public description of his rape fantasy that he has now gone under cover. Typical reaction of the right-wing fundies: run away. I am waiting for the next move: blame someone else for your depravity.

Since I was not able to e-mail that piece of garbage directly, I addressed my e-mail to the Webmaster.

Do the same!

AWOL Ohio Republicans

It's official: Bush is radioactive!

Cheney

In don't know what Cheney is smoking but I want some of it!

"Cheney was asked about Allawi's comments Sunday. He said he was wrong."

What would Allawi know anyway? He only LIVES in Iraq.

Original article: Look who's "fancy" now

Fancy Frist

Too bad they did not include the genial diagnosis of Terry Schiavo through videotape.

They should also have included photographs of tortured cats. As in the cats that Frist-the-Psycho "adopted" from shelters in order to have helpless subjects to practice his surgical skills. The creep never even even bothered with anesthesizing his victims. He enjoyed the screams of pain.

So, in 2008, we'll have a quack and a psychopath running for president. What else is new?

What is it with these people and Cervical Cancer?

They don't give a shit about women's health issues. That's what it is with these people.

In other words, they do not give a shit if their wives, daughters, or other close female relatives, actually GET cervical cancer. They are just women, i.e., lower forms of life.

That's what the "family values" and "pro-life" crowd is all about. They are despicable.

Friday, March 10, 2006 09:12 PM

The Senate discusses a bill that would wreak havoc on women's insurance coverage.

Meanwhile, Viagra and the other "lifestyle" drugs are fully covered. Can't let the boys pay full price for their fun, now. THAT would be so unfair.

Not too Brightstar65

What a whiny little wanker, that Brightstar65!

Yet another member of the pathetic "Angry White Male" club, I suppose. You know, those losers who sit around feeling sorry for themselves and ranting about how life is unfair, and about it's always somebody else's fault. Pathetic!

No wonder he hates women that much, he is such a pathetic failure that he never gets a date!

Friday, March 10, 2006 08:57 PM

Brightstar65

Not the brightest bulb in the room, that Brightstar65, is he?

"the man is at the mercy of the woman's decision and his whole life screwed up financially based on what she wants."

"Judge, she made me do it! She stole my sperm! My Mommy never told me how children were made!"

Wear a condom, moron. Otherwise, shut up!

Friday, March 10, 2006 08:52 PM

Men's rights group files suit to opt out of child support

What is this crap? Another "Angry White Males" support group?

Wear a condom, irresponsible idiots! And if you don't, then put up with the consequences. Bunch of pathetic whiners!
