Bush behaves like a petulant child. This type of behavior in a child is usually curbed by some "time-out". Unfortunately, we cannot put Bush "time-out".

It is obvious that this creature is stubborn to the point of stupidity, that his ego is so weak, and that his character is non-existent. A better and stronger man would be able to admit mistakes, apologize, and start clening up the mess. Not this one.

He led the country into a disastrous war in Iraq, and he is lesding it straight to an even more disastrous war with Iran. The saber-rattling and the build-up about Iran are eerily reminiscent to the lead-up to the war with Iraq. Bush and his cohorts have no intention of pursuing a diplomatic solution. They are chomping at the bit for a military attack.

Only Congress can stop this insanity. Unfortunately, the Republicans have long ago put party above country, and the Democrats are too afraid to look weak on defense to raise hell.

We are doomed.

Whatever he says, Newt has not come around on Iraq. He is trying to position himself for a return to public life.

I would not believe one word that comes out of Newt's mouth. Go back ten years and read about the abominations proposed by Newt, including putting children of poor people in orphanages.

He is the guy who served his cancer-stricken wife with divorce papers while she was in the hospital.

Newt is as vile and dishonest as DeLay.

All these "retired" generals are three years late and a few billion dollars short.

I hope he gets the job. That would finally get people riled enough to call for Bush's resignation.

Bush authorized the leaking of classified information for political gains. Acording to the trollery, that authorization amounts to a declassification. Hence Chimpy did not do anything wrong.

Yet Bush huffed, puffed, and ordered investigations into the leakages? He went so far as saying that leakers would no longer be working in his Administration...
