Gee! No WMDs!

No WMDs in Iraq. Plenty of them in the White House, Congress, and government agencies...

Iraq? A costly mess with no end in sight.

Afghanistan? The Taliban is back.

New Orleans? Gone, thanks to the idiots from DHS.

The CIA? In shambles.

The budget deficit? Out of control.

The economy? Real wage growth is nowhere to be found.

The GOP? A corrupt cesspool.

Iran? Getting ready to nuke it.

The rest of the world? They hate us.

Diplomacy? What's that?

The Department of Justice? In the hands of Abu Gonzales, the Torturer General and Grand Spying Poobah.

By the way, I see that someone let Mr. 30%'s trolls out of their cage. Put them back in. Do not give them Kool-Aid: they need detox.

Elisabeth Bumiller

Good riddance! She is one of the reasons why I stopped buying the NYT. Her sickening adoration of all things George Bush nauseated me.

Sounds like a self-description indeed

Coulter: "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-parrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husbands' death so much."

Except that men have been smart enough not to become her husband, dead or alive...

Coulter is a hustler. She is out to promote her book. Ignore her.

George Bush Sr. Rebuffed By Jr.

When is anybody going to publicly question the mental health of George W. Bush. Anyone who, like Bush, believes that he is right despite evidence of the contrary, who is unable to acknoweledge mistakes, let alone take responsibility for them, is mentally disturbed. I truly believe that George W. Bush is a narcissist and a sociopath. Narcissism and sociopathy are mental disorders. This man should not be in the White House.

Gutsy Ann

We already had "Ann, the Hustler". Now, we also have "Ann, the performance artist".

Someone that desperate for attention is obviously mentally deranged. I agree with one of the bloggers here that she is one step away from a total meltdown.

As for calling the 9/11 widows, "harpies", well it takes one to know one...

Ah, the lovely face of the GOP, blond mane and all...

Arlen Specter is a Sissy

He has made noise before and he has caved in every time anyway.

Specter is a windbag. All noise and no action.

Anyway, given his repulsive behavior during the Anita Hill hearings, he is not worth giving a second thought. He is a sleazy politician, through and through. And, frankly, I don't give a damn that he is battling cancer. In fact, it serves him right. I have friends who are much, much, better human beings who are battling cancer, and who are a lot more useful to society than that worthless hypocrite.

Coulter

The best way to get rid of the Coulter ceature is to ignore her.

Failing that, we can ridicule her. Because she looks ridiculous. And it will hurt her because she is obviously a sucker for attention. So, let us be mean without any qualms.

Given her age, she should be told that her sartorial habits are rather inappropriate. She looks like a mutton in lamb's clothing.

She is dreadfully skinny. At her age, that means showing a lot of protruding tendons and veins. Not a pretty sight!

And what do we know about her sex life? Clearly, men have stayed away from her. She is not married, nor does she have a steady man in her life.

So, let us be mean to that piece of garbage. She deserves every bit of it. Let us go after her, give her a taste of her own medicine, and see how she takes it.

Ann Zarqawi

Coulter is Al Zarqawi in a mini-skirt.

Bloggers and Reporters

Maureen Dowd has a snippy little op-ed piece in the NYT today about the Yearly Kos convention in Las Vegas, calling Markos an agent provocateur, and peppering her entire article with snide comments on the bloggers. Read it: it is nasty.

It is pretty obvious that journalists are feeling threatened by bloggers. They should be.

Bloogers and Reporters

MSM reporters are getting snarky and red in the face because bloggers are threatening their turf.

They are also learning the painful lessons of a free-market economy. As the MSM reporting has become more and more complacent, fatuous, and partisan, established reporters have seen their newspapers' circulation decline. As circulation declines, so does advertising revenue. As the newspapers' bottom line become thinner, reporters' jobs are threatened.

The bloggers are on the ascent for a very simple reason: they are offering better goods than the MSM, therefore dispplacing the incumbents who are offering shoddy goods. That is called competition, and that is the basis of our economic system.

So, whining,or getting snarky, will not do MSM reporters any good. Either they'll learn to float with the tide or they'll drown.

Snowjob

Snow is a cancer survivor. As such, he is just a statistic.

Jersey Girls

The "Jersey Girls" never claimed to be operating from a higher moral authority. That is another strawman fabricated by Coulter. You are free to disagree with the political positions of Democratic widows of 9/11 just as I am free to disagree with the political positions of Republican widows of 9/11.

The Republicans paraded Republican widows of 9/11 at the 2004 NY convention. Conservative radio and TV shows regularly invite Republican widows of 9/11. For the Republicans, 9/11 is the gift that keeps on giving.

My Pet Goat Day

Bush listened to the briefing, Suskind says, then told the CIA briefer: "All right. You've covered your ass, now."

Bush went fishing.

Now we know why he looked so flabbergasted as children read "My Pet Goat" to him. His immediate thought was probably "Oh! Shit! I remember some aide telling me something like that!" He then proceeded to disappear for the entire day, and being flown hither and thither aboard Air Force One.

Words fail me to express my scorn and disgust for this abominable creature and his followers.
