So, Arnie, Paisano! Yer a lawyer and at 500 bucks an hour, you got plenty time to drop in around here.

So, I asks you, didn't dear Jamie Gorelick make it awfully hard for that FBI gal to blow a 3000+ lives saving whistle?

Didn't her subordinate enforce Gorelick's rules?

Do you know about the Gorelick rules, or is it inconvenient for you to comment 'bout that, cause you are part of Gwenn's lynch mob ' round here?

Without putting us all to sleep with pages of legal mumbo jumbo, could you sum up the Clinton Justice Department's views on looking at suspected terrorist's computers and phones, and, really tell us, with a straight Agostino face, that they were correct in their lawyerly prohibitions against a real potential alarm to prevent 9/11?

Hey, you wern't sworn to secrecy 'bout dis was ya?

Nobody's gonna bump ya off if you tells da trut', right?

Gosh, what's a retired and very boring boring boring Air Force Lifer supposed to do with his lonely live.

If they retroactively impeach Bush, he could spend all day watching the proceedings on CSPAN, calling in to get to hear is voice on TV once every two months, and provide us here with his endless and prolific comments about how, he, a genuine military retiree, a real ex lifer in the Air Force, no less, has something very important to say about all this, bla bla bla.

Hey, Sarge.

How about Facebook?

There are lots of hot widows out there looking for a stud like you, Sarge, (especially if you come with one of those generous military pensions and plenty of life insurance.)

I'm disgusted too! Democrats, it's tyme to revolt, brothers and sisters!

Now, you're stuck with a guy named ROLAND who names his daughter ROLANDA!

You already got dingy Harry Reid, who, with his lawless sons. made millions buying desert property just before it happened to get rezoned for development. Such a lucky guy!

Then you got Nancy Pelosti, who owns a nice little hotel in Napa, one of them "botiques" I hear, where the best suite goes for $3500 bucks a night and the gourmet meals are to die for. She always supports the teachers unions and the SEIU, does whatever they say, as long as they don't try to unionize her hotel.

Then, there's that Jefferson guy from down south they caught with umteen $100 dollar bills stashed in his freezer.

You also got the klueless Barbara Boxer who couldn't make it selling bras in the original Filene's Basement in Brooklyn, so she become a US (shry) Senator instead, entitled to tell off Condolezza Rice because she never got married and never had kids, and had the gall to send young volunteer soldiers to die in battle in the Middle East.

Then there's Christ Dodd who likes to drink a lot and make a girl sandwich out of any cute female staff members stupid enough to go near him.

Then there's Senator Birdy from the great boondogle of West Virginia where many of our tax dollars go to utterly useless stuff named Birdy this and Birdy that. I mean this guy is straight out of Al Capp's "Li'l Abner.

Original article: The Israel rules

@What is Israel's Plan?

I know some Israelis, and if you knew more than three, you would not be asking that question.

If you had 12 Israeli's in a room and asked them about Israel's plan, they'd look at you like you wuz crazy, and then they'd proceed to argue with each other and with you, for a long time, and you'd come away with at least 7 different "plans" and at least 3 yelling that there could be no such thing as a plan.

I think if there is any common plan, it's to try to survive. Most would love to be able to peacefully live side by side with Palestinians both inside Israel and across a peaceful border.

Original article: W. and the damage done

@Groenhagen

I did some homework of my own and now understand that Rawley was originally quite professional and correct in her attempts to alert USA to at least one terrorist learning to fly and slaughter us.

Why no one was willing to act is not clear. Was it Jaime Gorelick's ACLU-approved edicts or bureaucratic density or turf wars or something else, nobody seems to know and those who might know are unwilling to step forward.

The mysteries of 9/11 now rival the mysteries of JFK's assassination.

I think I'll just watch the football game and try to forget about what might have been for a little while.

Thanks for your family's service.

Semper Fi!

Glenn is so brave to listen to most of the little mob here these days. Is Pat Buchanon also brave? They sound an awful lot alike these days.

Maybe we can fix them up with each other.

I have a friend who runs a Jewish Day School. She was born in a DP camp in Germany in 1945. Some of her family went to Israel. Some went here. Some went to Argentina. One of her cousins died in Argentina when the Jewish center in Buenas Aires was bombed. Rachel works night and day to maintain this wonderful school whose students master everything from Talmud to Torah to Calculus. Graduates have gone on to great universities like U of Chicago, Princeton, Northwestern and thrived. Her African American Alderman told her, "you people are never happy," in response to Rachel's pleas to please help with approvals on a new school building. She is one of the strongest people I know and she was crying when she told me this.

Context counts. Why should any gentile care about what is going on over there, and why are so many of you so quick to denounce Israel?

Is it because you are anti-semites?

Is it because you are leftists who see colonialists and oppressors wherever there is human suffering?
