... so we don't find out in six months what the fuck Bush & Co. have been doing to fuck up our planet during the past week while we spent all this time burning the latest societal witch at the stake.
It was nice to see President Bush weigh in that the decision shows how he's made progress in upholding the sanctity of life.
With all due respect, what the fuck does a man who oversaw the execution of more criminals than any governor in recent history and started a war that has cost 3,200 Americans and countless Iraqis their lives know about "the sanctity of life"?
Let's see, what rouge states could shoot off missiles that could strike Europe that would predicate us putting a missile shield in Poland as opposed to, say, Greece or Italy?
Maybe Putin has a point.

It seems to me that if we give a damn about our country's future, the time has come to rise up and cast the tyrants running our government out of office. We can't afford to wait till '08.
Tim, by pointing out Bush's inability to follow the law, I only have one question to ask: Why do you hate America so much?
It seems we ought to be able to reduce the Supreme Court's budget, to, what ... zero in coming years?
Why go through the pretension that arguments mean anything when we all damn well know that any decision that benefits the wealthy or the corporations or whatever right-wing cause that's out there is going to result in a 5-4 victory for those causes? Does anyone seriously doubt that Scalia hasn't already written the majority opinion for the 5-4 ruling that's going to overturn Roe-v-Wade?
And a special shout out goes to all the good Dems in Congress, who have shown their true colors by asking Bush how high on the way up when he tells them to jump. You can't go into Iraq, eliminate a surplus and put Roberts and Alito on the bench without Democratic complicity.

Joan, you've fallen into the same trap as the Dems: Question authority, but not so much that it might bother some people. I mean, you'll get behind impeachment if it looks more possible? Boy, there's a firm stand.
Cindy Sheehan has it right: You don't confront tyrants with half-assed measures. You march to the gates of the castle and throw their cake-eating asses into the moat. And if those proclaiming to be our champions won't do it, we have to do it ourselves.

Managers' avoidance of Bonds to the tune of 120 intentional walks and as many as 232 total walks (including those of the unintentional intentional variety) was neither courageous nor intelligent. In most cases, it was stupid; it cost their teams and it made the Giants much better than they had any right to be given their talent level.
Pick any model you choose. Doesn't matter. Go ahead and run the numbers. Heck, surround Bonds with eight freakin' Mario Mendozas if you like. If you walk Bonds every time up, the team will score more runs and win more games over the course of a season than if you pitched to Barry every time up.

I couldn't agree more, which is absolutely why I will not be voting for Hillary Clinton next year or any other douche-baggy Dem who kissed Bush's arrogant ass back in 2002 because they were scared to death that a no vote on Iraq would mean a defeat in November.
