please

why are you even giving these people any coverage, let alone a banner headline?

Original article: Sarah Palin's wasteful ways

it's all well and good to expose stuff about Palin

but let's get Sarah Palin off the front pages of the news. period.

leave.

this troubled kid does not need a step-parent who does not want them. your concerns are real, but the end result is you should leave this situation. the child's needs take precedent over anything else, PERIOD. that should make it relatively easy for you.

Original article: "Ponyo"

i don't understand.

you state in your first paragraph that you are basically prejudiced against Miyazaki's work.

right away, that means you should not be the one reviewing it.

good lord.

i feel like this piece was just written to bait. is this for real?

i think you are idiotic to feed your son's obsessions. i was the same when i was a kid; very violence-obsessed. my liberal parents basically did nothing either way about toy guns in our house, and now i loathe guns and anything related to them. i think they should be banned utterly. impossible, of course, but there it is. there is no lesson there.

most likely it would make no difference if you continue the way you do, but maybe it will err on the side of making things worse.

more than anything your piece just made me incredibly depressed. sad. weary.
