I am one of those "older" women who support Hillary and I will tell you right now that should Obama win the nomination I will be voting for McCain.
- RC, from a previous thread
Pathetic
Your idea that a theoretical advantage in the popular vote is somehow more compelling than an actual advantage in delegates is interesting. Let us know how the new meds work out.
He's not emotionally evailable...he withholds the key. I'm not emotionally available either, but it doesn't really matter because I don't have a girlfriend.
Not the stated argument, but it might as well be.
In natural philosophy, atomism is the theory that all the objects in the universe are composed of very small, indestructible building blocks, called atoms, like:
"Hillary is losing"
These particles at present show no experimental evidence of size or substructure. However, the trend of empirical evidence for ever-smaller subatomic particles raises the question: "Is matter infinitely divisible?" Since absence of evidence does not amount to evidence of absence, experiment cannot answer this question.
but if you don't take a look at yourself, you'll probably pick another one just like him.
The Dalai Lama is a buddha, not a god, I think.
But why blame the left for not getting with the center? Why not blame the center for not getting with the left?
But by all means...blame, blame, blame.
Actually, I'm blaming the right.
Look, I've been in the center for many years but I went left for Obama. All I'm asking is that everybody think exactly like me...isn't this the basic approach taken in the Salon letters section?

Men supposedly develop their feminine side as they get older. Not as in "metrosexual" but more like "not such a prick".
I'm not as much of a prick as I was when I was younger, and I do notice that I'm not having as much success with women as I used to. Of course, maybe I've also just gotten ugly.
Just an observation...I don't advocate being a prick with women, or men either for that matter.
This is sort of like the "loudness wars" in the music industry: every part of the signal is pumped up to nearly maximum volume.
The result is a wall of noise.
...but since it's the "man" chemical...your issue with the research is what exactly?
Hello, if this bugs you maybe you should take a look at the psych drug industry re blanket generalizations about personalities.
The subprime lenders, Obama and the American people all want an economic environment where houses can be bought and money can be made. Nothing the "Obama haters" have said has convinced me that Obama is not going to work for this.
If I had an hour for every internet post...well, that's a lot of yoga.

Perhaps Former President Clinton should remove himself from his wife's campaign.
Preliminary results from the world's largest survey on mental health indicate that mental illness is widespread and undertreated, and that wealthy people with mild illness receive more and better treatment than poor people with severe illness.
From 1 to 5 percent of the populations of most of the countries surveyed had serious mental illness, according to the findings...

McCain's World
Foreign Policy: John McCain's vision of the U.S. role in the world includes completing the victory in Iraq and forging a new alliance of free nations. The contrast with his two Democratic rivals couldn't be starker.
Going to the National Review for info on Obama is like going to Mother Jones for info on McCain.
By all means, let us know when he is.
I believe a spirited contest is good for the Democratic Party and will strengthen the eventual nominee," she said. "We will have a united party behind whomever that nominee is. ... I look forward to campaigning over the next several months."

But since you seem to be an expert on all things Clinton, maybe you have an advance directive on the thousand cuts strategy.
The Democratic Party wants your love...however your love is a conditional, Hillary-based variety so your vote will most likely be going to McCain.
Although Obama is ahead, apparently we need to see that he is really behind and so we need to support Hillary. And although Obama looks pretty good in the polls against McCain, Hillary looks better (?) so we need to get behind her instead.
Your argument (as far as I can tell, sorry if I'm stupid) seems to be: I Am The Prototypical Swing Voter, And I Will Not Vote For Obama. So Nominate Hillary Because You Cannot Win Without Me.
Well, I'm from Oregon and I'll be voting for Obama in the primary. I'll vote for Hillary in the general if it comes to that.
But I'm no more likely to vote for Hillary in the primary than you are to vote for Obama in the general.
We all know the record of the DLC, the Progressive Policy Institute and, of course, the Clinton-Gore Administration. The economic recovery plan stands first and foremost as a testament to both good ideas and political courage. National service. The Brady Bill. Family Leave. NAFTA. [Remarks of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to the 2002 DLC National Conversation]

Clinton: "You know, I have been a critic of NAFTA from the very beginning. I didn't have a public position on it, because I was part of the administration, but when I started running for the Senate, I have been a critic." [Democratic Debate, 2/26/08]
