I don't think the stimulus package transfers any assets to the poor...it uses tax money to pay for services, which is happening right now anyway.

The idea that services received are "assets" is not a mainstream economic concept, IMO.

This rebranding of the consumer base into a "community" that provides "feedback" is how the software industry reduces the cost of testing: by selling products that aren't finished.

Psychiatric medications generally don't provide a cause-and-effect "lift": they relieve symptoms gradually. Because alcohol and pot provide immediate positive feedback, they pose an addiction risk.
