Rape is forced sex. If there is force involved in terms of slavery with prostitution, I would think that the blame for that lies with the pimp or madam, not the john.
This law is sort of like saying that you're guilty of kidnapping if the housekeeping company you do business with sends you a trafficked worker.
maybe
ie fussy, moralistic, eclectic but also strangely narrow and cloistered
Sex is a privilege that can only be earned by jumping through cultural hoops, not by using the mastercard.
I will do my best to destroy them by laying on a heavy "guilt trip". If that doesn't work, I may have to form a more personal relationship with them, so that I can "get inside their heads" and teach them to be normal like me.
remember this article
I've notice the same disgusting behavior in society at large. Yet the pedophile card is always played first on catholic priests here at Salon, regardless of the issue.
I left the Catholic Church a long time ago, but anti-catholic "intellectuals" make me sick.
The point is church doctrine on female priests.
Your argument about the responsibilities of church officials regarding sexual misconduct is part of some other article.
If some government official was accused of theft, would you then add to the argument "This government official is duty-bound to report pedophilia on his staff"?
Well, you might...but probably not. However I see this all the time concerning catholics.
some are venal, some are mortal...consult your priest
prejudiced garbage...any catholic policy question in Salon is always juxtaposed with child abuse.
I don't know...it's my opinion that these priests be punished just like any other citizen. If you find anyone here who thinks differently I'd be surprised.
What I object to is the way the subject of this article uses child abuse as a wedge to promote his own agenda, and the willingness of Salon to present this as valid.
Will he sell out to the center-right on the upskirting issue???
It's likely he would want you to be forward-looking and bipartisan regarding your boss.
would not want you to take pleasure in anyone's failure
He would probably laugh heartily at this funny comic strip.
But really, YOU need to be the boss. Take control, hire yourself, allow yourself to succeed, etc...and please get back to us about how it all turns out.
globalsecurity.org gives a penetration of 330mm for the RPG-7, approximately half of what was specified in the article.
This wise and knowing sarcasm makes us feel warm and happy.
think about it...cameras everywhere, INVISIBLE except to ants and other small creatures. Maybe there is a secret internet in the cracks in sidewalks...let's craft some legislation.

I have sympathy for those who can't find a solution, however Ms. Fisher sounds a little bit addicted to the drama.
Hopefully that's ok with my boss.
they're having a relationship...of some sort
he had plenty of supporters...so are we still at war with ourselves, or has Obama just magically made all that disappear?
you probably can't return them if they don't fit
It's sad, not entertainment...she needs to retire now with her millions, fire all these people surrounding her, and hire a full-time shrink.
So how's about we keep on demonizing Bush until 46% of the U.S. starts waking the hell up?
I understand your sentiment, I just don't think that this 46% comes anywhere near Salon...or anywhere near the perennial "impeach Bush" rally outside the office building where I work.
I'm all for explaining the Republican policy failures to anyone who will listen...but it's dangerous to make everything about Bush.
Maybe that's not the intention...however I keep hearing this "ding dong the Bush is dead" song, but the military-industrial complex is still alive and well. More or less the same Congress, too.
I don't have any money, so these /ahem/ "situations" don't arise.
you're on the road to living behind a dumpster

Not everybody likes sophisticated humor...so in the spirit of diversity, put away your douchbag thank-you cards!
where can I get an M1...hopefully zero down
alas I am not a spelling star
The LW should leave out her biases and treat this dude like anyone else. Also, here's a hint: don't mention "disgusting religious practices" when filing the police report.
the men are all this, the men are all that...lady, what you don't know about men (especially the ones who would FIGHT over you) would fill a book...

Bush I -> Clinton -> Bush II -> Obama
it's a motion to dismiss a claim
Rejecting a claim is a way to reject a claim, ie to deny that it has any legal validity whatsoever.
The motion to dismiss is exactly that, in spite of how the claimants might spin it.
but I've lost count
