Why all the hatred pouring from you? This doesn't demonstrate belief in your candidate, but rather a need to hate Hillary Clinton and all those who support her. It's simply not possible to be a progressive and express this much ugliness towards others.

Sorry but you're not. Period. It's not about you.

Does being a Democrat include tolerating, even encouraging, the attempted destruction of a Democratic contender for the presidential nomination? Does it also include the attempted destruction of her Democratic husband, a former president? Does being a Democrat include tolerating the smearing of this candidate and her husband as racists? Does it include tolerating month after month after month of hateful messages from supposed progressives about this Democratic contender? Does it include remaining silent when sexist comment after sexist comment is made about this contender? Does being a Democrat mean remaining silent when this contender is branded a witch, a bitch, a destructive, evil liar, ad infinitum?

If so, then millions of have no desire to think of ourselves as Democrats any longer. In this regard, it is about us. It's about our core sense of honor, decency, fair play, honesty, integrity, all those old fashioned virtues. Without those, the "D" doesn't mean a damned thing, and that is what will rightfully cost Democrats the election come November.

This is OT, but there's no other place to post it at the moment, and I seriously doubt salon would take the initiative. I found the link to this video at TalkLeft - a far more responsible site than this one. The content of this video is revolting, but it will undoubtedly be ignored by the MSM. As we've all seen for months now, protecting The One is far more important than doing their jobs - God help us.

Thing is, no one (outside of TalkLeft and Corrente and a few obscure others) is talking about the gross unfairness of the situation in re to FL & MI. These two states are being heavily penalized for doing nothing more than did SC, NH, and IA. The latter three received 'waivers', but FL & MI got the shaft. Why? Because the DNC 'leadership' is entirely incompetent and clueless. However, now that continuing to penalize MI and FL plays into Obama's hands, Brazile & Co. are dead set on playing it down and dirty. And so, the Dems can kiss the general election goodbye, perhaps even the future of the party. The party is pretty much unrecognizable anymore, so the loss is smaller than it once would have been.

Why? Three reasons: lack of character, credentials, and good judgment. If this constitutes blow-back, then so be it.

Short answer: no.

It's rather telling that the repertoire of so many offended Obamafans is limited to: a) she's a Republican! (or Rethuglican as some of you put it), or b) she's a racist!

This tells some of us all we need to know you about your critical thinking skills. They're pretty much DOA.

There's way too much ugly water over the dam for many Clinton supporters to ever consider voting for Obama. You can't attempt to destroy the competition with no holds barred and then wave flimsy olive branches in an attempt to mask the damage. If Obama gets the nomination, afraid y'all are on your own. Not as Democrats, but as something less.

In fact, hell's too good for Obama, Dean, Brazile, and the rest of the thieves and thugs who have stolen, yes, stolen this nomination and trashed the Democratic party chances of winning in November. I will be voting for John McCain - as many times as possible. And I will have lots and lots and lots and lots of company.

If you are going to post about the MI primary, you could at least do a little research first. In a highly cynical move to embarrass Hillary Clinton and curry favor for himself with IA voters, Obama led a secret effort to get all the candidates - except Hillary Clinton - to remove their names from the MI ballot at the last minute. Obama operatives then mounted a campaign to urge voters to endorse 'uncommitted'. This was a calculated risk which paid off big time for Obama in IA. He is now being rewarded with votes - and delegates - he did not earn and should never have been granted.

It's dunderheads like you who are making this the ugliest, most manipulative, least fact driven primary campaign the Democrats have ever seen. Welcome to the further dumbing down of America.
