  • Oh, I'd vote for a woman

[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]

Just not THIS woman. You mean, the woman who has been shamelessly bludgeoned for years, first by the far right, now by the far left in concert with the male-dominated MSM? What crap, what complete, unadulterated crap. The Hillary Clinton so many of you enjoy demonizing is YOUR creation, the one you've given birth to for whatever less than admirable reasons. It must take a great deal of self delusion to deny that you haven't managed to kill off the real Hillary Clinton, the flawed, all too human, yet highly admirable and capable and astonishingly intelligent and politically astute and still standing Hillary Clinton for whom many millions have voted.

Protest all you want, but Barack Obama isn't a whit more honorable than Hillary Clinton, if as much. There's plenty out there implicating Obama as a scheming, equivocating, self serving politico with unbridled ambition as his only apparent god. But in order to justify voting for him rather than Clinton, he must first be elevated to a higher plane, one not inhabited by a single politician the world has ever known. Guess what? In doing the latter, you give the game away. And you march the Democratic party to almost inevitable doom come November.

So, to paraphrase the words of an organization for which I no longer have any use: congratulations on all that you do. If I were more charitable, I suppose I would instead say: Forgive them, for they know not what they do. But I'm not feeling particularly religious these days.

You say: "I'm not against Hillary because she's a woman. I'm against Hillary because she's a transparent political hack who will say or do anything to get elected, and I think it's incredibly sad that so many of her supporters back her primarily because they share the same reproductive organs."

I say: "I'm not against Obama because he's a man. I'm against Obama because he's a transparent political hack who will say or do anything to get elected, and I think it's incredibly sad that so many of his supporters back him primarily because they share the same reproductive equipment."

So, does that sound any less transparent - coming from a woman, I mean?

Why not just come out and say what you mean: anyone who votes for Hillary instead of Barack is a stone racist? After all, that seems to be this season's received theme.

Can you explain how my reply to BryanS constitutes baiting? I thought it was a rather obvious means of pointing out hypocrisy in action.

As for my previous post, I hardly consider that baiting. No hooks were used in the production of that one, either. I'm angry and I'm honest about that anger and I'm sick and tired of all the slime being tossed at Hillary Clinton, along with all the reasons why the slime is perfectly justified.

Obama's malpractice vote in the IL Senate only came to my attention the other day. It was only one more reason for me to not vote for him, but I have to admit it pushed a lot of buttons. That vote hardly makes Obama look like a candidate who actually cares what happens to real people as the result of bad but politically expedient decisions. I mean, his wife works for a Chicago hospital system, right? It would be interesting to learn when Obama cast that vote and how that might have played into his wife's career prospects. BTW, it wasn't our medical insurance that snarled things so badly; it was the lack of legal recourse in a horribly unjust situation which pretty much wrecked our lives. Sorry if I come off as some sort of harridan on occasion; I promise you that in real life I'm anything but. And I do wish you the best with your own health problems.

  • Fair is fair - and unfair isn't

Well, now that everyone has had another chance to take a shot at the Clintons - this time based on their tax return, could we possibly begin looking into why Obama has never made the record of his years in the Illinois Senate available? The latter would seem to be a rather substantive, legitimate issue. Well, Senator Obama? Where ARE those records and why have they been disappeared?

  • Silly attacks on Obama?

Much as you'd like, chhabili (ancient Assyrian for asp?), Rezko isn't going anywhere (remember old Tony?). Rezko is the rope around Obama's neck which is going to drag the whole Democratic party down if Obama becomes its candidate, Keith Obamaman, O Christ Matthews, and Tim Buzzard notwithstanding.

Read this (something which I will be posting again in future). It's long, fact filled, pretty enlightening stuff. In other words, the MSM won't want to touch it. But, ohhhhh, the Republicans damn sure will:

Of course Obama doesn't have to go crying to Chris Matthews. Matthews is wrapped around Obama's leg - even as he experiences those famous chills traveling up his own hairy neither regions.

Your argument is a lousy one, okay? It's too disingenous for words.

  • So, chhabili

Did you read the opednews piece about Obama and Rezko? It might lead to a bit of insight re that whopping salary of Michelle's which presumably shows up on the tax returns.

  • Helen Thomas on news bias

[Read the article: Americans more ready for a black president than a woman?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Okay, for those of you who weren't around for the Dark Ages of the 40s, 50s, and 60s....Helen Thomas is a legendary figure in the political news business - she got her first White House beat when Kennedy was president and was a figure in the front row at presidential press conferences for many years. In other words, Thomas knows what she's talking about when it comes to politics and media, and what she talked about today was the incredible bias against Clinton in the MSM. If you don't believe her, well, that's your prerogative, but also your problem. A link to the column in question:
