Hit or Miss
[Read the article: This Modern World]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Like any great cartoonist TT is hit or miss. This one is a direct hit. There is no good explanation for Hillary's Iraq vote or Iran vote. On Iraq, was she gullible or pandering?
On Iran, was she gullible or pandering (or in thrall to AIPAC)?
And even with all her triangualting and pandering and and attempts to use hawkishness as a rhetorical strap-on dildo, she is still the most unpopular of the Dems among independents and people outside the Democratic Party in general.
We are as stupid as the GOP if we nominate this person.
Thank You TT.

Another Hatchet Job
[Read the article: Why conservatives love Barack Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This piece rests upon the most absurd conceit I can imagine - that Hillary, with no charisma and despised by all outside of the Democratic base, is a better candidate in a general election than the dynamic, churchy Obama.
Salon has an agenda and if Hillary gets the nomination, her success is our doom.
This place sucks.

ARRRRGGHHH!!!!!
[Read the article: Clinton wins New Hampshire]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did Hillary's crocodile tears get out the lady vote? Please Dem Ladies, can't you realize that you are the only ones who like this woman?
She is doom in a general election.
Fuck This.
And Fuck New Hampshire.

Crocodile Tears
[Read the article: The witch ain't dead, and Chris Matthews is a ding-dong]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Good job ladies of New Hampshire. You have kept alive the GOP's best chance to keep the White House.
Forget logic and the exhaustively quantified extent of Hillary hatred outside of the Democratic Party... Those jerks on tv were mean about Hillary getting all emotional. Since you don't like men who are disdainful of women or are too quick to write them off as overly emotional, clearly it makes semse to vote for Hillary in the Democratic Primary.
Traister shares your uncanny knack for applying logic to difficult decisions.
Isn't it obvious now that when the Hillary-bot tried to squirt a few tears at a televised event, it was a ploy to sway the ladies?
If the Democrat Party is as easily swayed by shallow emotional appealls, we are as stupid as the GOP.
And Traister, by citing the "fact" that black men got the right to vote way before women did, you are engaging in the basest and stupidest form of identity politics that I can imagine.
When was the Voting Rights Act passed again, Professor Traister?

Waxman the Coward
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's great that Waxman is investigating steroids, but won't hold hearings on the Sibel Edmonds case. Edmonds is the FBI translator who was fired after bringing to light evidence that people high up in the US gov't were engaged in, among other things, peddling nuclear secrets to the highest bidder.

The Nuclear Option
[Read the article: The racial divide, then and now]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama needs to start running adds calling Hillary unelectable. Perhaps a song to the tune of "Unforgettable" could play in the background. He doesn't have to say anything overtly mean or even subjective. Just point to poll numbers that show 50% of likely voters say they WILL NEVER VOTE FOR HILLARY.
She is the third most hated Politician in the US behind Bush and Cheney. It is so sad that people are so clueless as to think that Americans will go for that charmless automaton. I can already see it now - after the election, the crying, "Why was the media so kind to McCain and critical of Hillary. Boo hoo! It's everybody's fault but ours. Oh, the unfairness and the sexism of it all!"

Unelectable
[Read the article: The racial divide, then and now]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Unelectable, in every way
And forever more, that's how you'll stay
That's why, Hillary, it's incredible
That someone so unelectable
Thinks that she should be President too

Iraq
[Read the article: The racial divide, then and now]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hillary is from a liberal state. She did not have to vote for the war to keep her office. She and Bill could have vocally come out against it and hundreds of thousands of people might still be alive today.
She is a coward with blood on her hands. I cannot believe that with her cowardice and unelectability so obvious, she still has any supporters. Oh, but she's a woman and it's not fair that we haven't had a woman president before. Let's make the Democratic nominee a protest candidate. Brilliant!

Steinem-ites
[Read the article: Feisty bloggers vs. old-school Steinem-ites!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Gloria Steinem revealed the depth of her solipsism when she wrote that there is no greater limiting factor than gender (not even race).
This is so easily falsified by sociological data as to be laughable.

WTF?
[Read the article: Team Clinton: Obama's now the establishment candidate]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yeah, Hillary is anti-establishment. The woman who is the wife of the former President who signed NAFTA and ended welfare, the woman who was a co-sponsor of the bill that allowed Bush to conquer Iraq, and who sat on the Board of Directors at Wal-Mart...is anti-establishment.
Jesus, is it any wonder that Hillary beats Obama 2-1 with voters with only a high education, while Obama leads 2-1 among voters who went to college?
This new spin is only the most ridiculous of Hillary's attempts to shore up what is left of her supporters, who apparently, though I don't know any personally, are numerous.
Gos save us from this power hungry nutcase who may very well take the Dems' hopes to regain the White House down with her in November.
How in the world, after Bush and Cheney, could the GOP have any hope of regaining the White House?
One word: Hillary.
