THe vast majority of the slobs in Washington are really unemployable. They are there for the money. Who in their right mind would want Barney Frank working for them or Chris Dodd or Miss 38D as speaker of the house.

What we need is term limits so that the slobs can imitate Cincinnatus and return to their own affairs after actually serving their country for a short time. Then read histories of the second war and how we'd lose a couple of thousand American kids in one battle; kids who were the products of the depression and then be thankful for what they did so that you were not baked in one of the German's ovens or being that target for Japanese bayonet practice.
