The odds of the Bingaman amendment making it are virtually nil. The only amendment with even a real (though marginal) chance of passing is the Feingold-Dodd amendment that flatout strips immunity from the bill.

For criminal reasons (to ensure an unconstitutional law is passed quickly) Reid agreed that the the Feingold-Dodd amendment would require only a majority vote to pass, but the other amendments would require 60 votes to pass. The Bingaman amendment needed the same consideration as the Feingold-Dodd amendment: simple majority.

Reid wants this atrocity to pass so he is ensuring it will...while trying to claim credit for voting against it on the floor vote. This is an old trick on his part (and the part of too many "Democrats"). He KNOWS the bill will pass so he can try to gain cred by voting against the foregone conclusion. He will then appear to the angry voter and say "I tried to stop it, and I voted against it!" This is a lie and Reid is a liar.

Reid, regardless of his actual vote on the bill must be targeted for removal. He had FULL control on whether this bill would come to the floor (like so many other horrific bills) but he just couldn't wait to get it to the floor so it could pass. He is unfit to be in so-called Majority "Leader" and he is unfit to serve the people in the government.

Same goes for Pelosi, by the way. SHE is ultimately responsible for this entire atrocity as she had FULL power to prevent this from ever coming up.

there is absolutely no way 8 Rs plus Lieberman flip.

This is why it is really down to the Feingold-Dodd amendment. THAT is the amendment that could pass regardless of the Lieberman and the others scum.

What I find nauseatingly amazing is that ANY senators are willing to grant immunity without a single clue as to what they are immunizing. This is really simple and basic: you do NOT vote for something that you haven't read nor know nothing about. That should just be basic policy.

I can't even imagine what the money bomb will bring in.

I am guardedly optimistic but am not, yet, counting on a critical detonation (a nuclear money bomb, so to speak).

I HOPE there are enough pissed off people across the political spectrum that they actually produce a completely un-ignorable thermonuclear money bomb on Aug 8. If people really come through on this, it will scare the shit out of some criminals in the Congress.

If it is big enough, besides targeting those who actually vote improperly on the floor vote, money could be escrowed and grown to take on those who are not up for re-election this year.

Is Rockefeller, the traitor of all traitors, up for re-election this year or in two? HE is a prime target, as are: Reid, Hoyer, Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer...

I believe that the illegal software used these day to illegally spy on all American's communications is more sophisticated than to simply look for/listen for a few magic words. I'm sure the list of naughty words is quite long but the supermagic words are easy enough to guess:

I suggest email signatures filled with the likes of:

Jihad nuclear weapon death to america dirty bomb assassinate the president crusaders mohammad allah god willing kill them all explosion infidels explosive IED EFP jihadis

As a matter of fact, any combination (or all) of the above words could become a nonsensical signature for emails that would likely get caught up CONSTANTLY in the illegal spying sweep. Sure, there are likely more subtle ways to get their illegal attentions with words but this is certainly most direct. You can probably enhance the effectiveness if you use an anonymous email system or account accessed via tor (www.torproject.org) AND set your exit router (read up on tor to see what this means) to be some country with a major muslim population. OR you can use an anonymized email account to send nonsense to another anonymous email account thus: encrypt a message with PGP or OpenGP, it could be stanza from a favorite poem or few lines from a favorite book, and send it with the above list of words as a signature on the email.

    Double plus good.

First, you place a nonconducting sheet under the bracelet so it cannot "stun" you.

Second, you can cover it with a fine metal mesh and prevent any tracking.

Third, like HELL would I ever wear such a slaver device.

  • How about a bar complaint?

[Read the article: Betrayed by Obama]

For a constitutional lawyer, this vote is criminal -- just like the acts it absolves.

Obama's obvious failure to understand the simple words of the Constitution, as well as the words of US law (the original FISA law was so clear that a Reagan-appointed judge knew that it clearly meant "the exclusive means of conducting surveillance". Obama not only violated his oath of office in the Senate (which bodes ill for his oath of office should he be sworn in as Dictator...err...President). These are grounds to submit a complaint to the bar(s) that he belongs to and seek his disbarment.

He is unfit as an American, he is unfit as a human being. He IS corporatocracy, every bit as much as is McSame.

Myself? I'm voting Nader for the simple poetry of it. It would be the greatest poetic justice of all if Obama loses because enough like me vote for Nader (or Barr, or Paul, or ANYONE else but the two Republicans at the top of the ticket).
