The answer is to quit doing this crap. All you do is feed the beast. You help enable the criminality of our Government (top to bottom) by helping Democrats (or Republicans) win anything. Tirelessly working for Democrats IS tirelessly working for continued torture, abuse, secret prisons, gutting the Bill of Rights, and wars upon wars. Do you WANT to work for all this? If your answer is NO then you MUST NOT HELP EITHER PARTY "WIN" ANYTHING. I quit being a Democrat after being a faithful Democrat for 27 years (my entire voting life) this year. It took too long but I finally saw the Truth - that being a Democrat and voting Democrat does NOTHING to change ANYTHING. The Democrats and Republicans are two faces of the SAME COIN. The only difference between them are superficial surface design features - the coin remains one coin, however. NOTHING will change if you elect Democrats rather than Republicans except minor easy crap at the margins. The rich will STILL get richer at an accelerated rate, the environment will STILL be degraded to a greater or lessor degree but degrade it will, torture will continue apace, secret prisons will continue as will rendition (Bill Clinton, the holyman of the modern Dems, STARTED RENDITION. Bush merely pumped steroids into it...do you honestly think it will quit under Hillary?). I take great pleasure these days telling the money beggars from the Democrat party that they will never ever EVER receive so much as a penny from me ever again. I will not vote Democratic as a party - I may well vote for the occasional INDIVIDUAL who happens to be a Democrat but loyalty to any party? NOT A CHANCE. Both parties are corrupt beyond repair, as is our system. I just can't bring myself, yet, to totally opting out of it. Habit, I suppose.

Show of hands. Who here actually believes that a President Hillary Clinton will fail to use a single supermagic power that Bush has claimed for the Presidency? Who actually believes that a President Hillary Clinton will give up a single power or "program" that Bush has initiated? Who thinks that Hillary will end rendition? Now consider that it was Bill Clinton himself who STARTED the rendition program...Bush just extended it to the logical conclusion. Who here thinks that torture and secret prisons will end with Hillary? She tacitly approves of torture in the BULLSHIT "ticking timebomb fantasy" and her hubby, big Bill, admires Jack Bauer (????!!!!) of the TV show 24 for his use of torture. His words, honestly. And only just recently, as in the last 30 friggin' days.
Who here thinks that Democrats in the majority in Congress will reverse a SINGLE thing they've enacted while they suffered...in the bereft state of a majority since 2006? Oh yes, PLEASE, let the Democraps revisit FISA again! They can add MORE abuses and unconstitutional bells and whistles with each revisit!
Keep giving those bastards money and promise them your vote. It sure is working wonders don't you think?

The INSTANT a citizen in the US calls a "target" or a "target" calls a citizen in the US, it is absurd to think that even an innocuous US citizen involved wouldn't immediately become a "target". They'd use the fact that the citizen either received or placed a call to a "target" as justification that they become a "target" and from there the spider spreads its legs to everyone US citizen "target" emails, calls, takes call from, etc, regardless of whether they are in the US or not.
There is a problem here with secrets. There is NO need for the FISA court in the first place! Why is it that courts can be trusted to issue warrants for wiretaps on organized crime figures who are perfectly capable of killing various government agents if they found out, or skirting the eavesdropping, but they cannot be trusted to issue handle so-called "national security" issues?
I wager that MOST so-called "national security" issues are, in fact, laughable, ridiculous, weak, pathetic, nonsensical, overly paranoid, BULLSHIT, etc. As a former Air Force B-52 crewman with Top Secret SCI clearance, I can tell you that most secrets, period, that the government keeps are huge loads of idiotic crap. It follows that the entire "reason" for FISA courts (ie, Star Chambers) are equally a load of idiotic crap that can be handled just as well by NORMAL judges in NORMAL courts.
