  • Why not go the whole hog

and just get Mark Penn to write these for you?

It's just a series of HRC talking points with a brief snippet from Obama's campaign followed by a clip over the ear.

Salon's become a bit of a joke lately, Glen Greenwald's the only person you can trust here anymore.

  • Maybe Richardson

was trying to make himself smaller to be less of a target for those snipers! They're everywhere you know.

    Oh, except here at Salon.

    SHhhhhhhh.

If we don't mention Hillary's a liar no-one will know.

  • I bet you wish you'd filed this story before

Clinton's campaign imploded. It's kind of irrelevant now isn't it?

  • Here's a real story for you

[Read the article: Richardson said Obama can't beat McCain?]

Obama smashes Clinton in March donations with $40M+ ; Hillary too embarrassed to release own figures.

Obama's going fine. Clinton is tanking.

  • Have a kleenex

Stop whining. She's run a disastrous campaign especially for someone with a life time of Political service. Obama's beaten her hands down with the management of his campaign, fund raising, energizing voters, and getting people to vote for him.

The system favored her--she could have, and should have put him away on Feb 5th. He was pretty much unknown and she had a huge advantage over him. She micromanaged herself into second place and blew it. Better now than in the general I say.

  • Right on!

It's not the lies, the deception, the low-ball gutter tactics, the whining, the wagging fingers, the condescension, the disgusting sense of entitlement, the even more disgusting Mark Penn, the scorched earth policies of attacking other democrats or the embarrassing behavior of the ex-President. It's because I'm a guy, and a bit of a jerk. Oh, and hillary supporters are just so damn reasonable.

Thanks for gathering some random quotes and enlightening me.

    Awesome bit of journalism there.

  • Are you insane?

Seriously. I fully expected Obama to cop a smack up the side of the head from you guys over this issue, and I would be prepared to hear what's said on that, but this whole article is just serious dribble.

"According to Gallup, last August -- months before the mythical race baiting is supposed to have begun -- Clinton led among high-school-educated Democrats and tied Obama among more-educated voters in a multi-candidate race. Since then there has been a growth in Obama's support among educated Democrats, as other candidates have dropped out, but no augmentation of Clinton's support in general. The legions of racist white voters alleged to have been driven by subtle race baiting into the Clinton camp following the early primaries do not exist."

The "race-baiting', as you put it, I wouldn't use that term, wasn't to attract white racist votes but to marginalize Obama, to corner him into being the 'Black Candidate'. Clinton's campaign got no benefit in numbers from this because it blew up in their face. They were called on it and almost completely lost the African American vote as a result. Your assertions are making my head spin, they are so far off the mark. You're just delusional.

I'm sure there are articles criticizing Obama on this issue that are out there that are thoughtful and make sense, and like I said, I would be prepared to read them and think about the points being made, but man, this sure isn't one of them.
