Original article: Should Obama chase Osama?

I've seen Osama

After some years spent strictly as a solemn cavedweller, Osama escaped to Karachi, where he got a nose job and a cheap toupe, and there after moved to Miami. He's changed his name from Osama to Sheldon.

Rahm worries me a little...

Original article: Bill Ayers talks back

I know it's been mentioned previously...

...but check out the documentary movie "The Weather Underground." I own a copy of it on DVD. It's an essential historical doc on the 60's, seeing as most docs on the 60's repeat the same brainless banalities over and over and over and over again....

Almy best to Ayers and Dorn both.

Monday, November 17, 2008 02:26 PM

I do not want Joe Lieberdude...

Overlookin' my homeland security.

Saturday, November 8, 2008 10:48 PM

Saturday, November 8, 2008 10:14 PM

Yeah Nick,

But if you bounder about quick, with a big bulky stick, you might stumble in a dry crick, and fall on your cruise controled cruise missles and cluster fuck up your prick.

Cut down on the steroids Nick.

Sounds kinda caveman to me...OOK! OOK! OOK!

But whatever, everybody's entitled to their political opinions...opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one.

And there are still alot of assholes in this country. Even Obama's election won't change that.

Saturday, November 8, 2008 05:37 PM

Oddly I actually like Ringo more as an actor than a drummer actually...

I really hate the Beatles...they're like the piped in ambiant soggy soundtrack of my entire life since they first invaded America, which coincidentally was the year of my birth year - '64.

Ringo though, really put in a rare performance in a favorite flick of mine "The Magic Christian."

Ringo plays opposite Peter Sellers as the adopted son of Peter Seller's central character to the film's story, the pranksterish millionaire "madman" - Sir Guy Grand.

Both parade through the movie turning English society upside down on its self, overturning conservative, stoggy conventions and treasured traditions, and just generally being pests, the kind of pest I always want to be as a boy, only without the many millions to make it all so so to speak.

@ernie

Yeah, I'm there...let's enjoy our "new world." Let's also ensure that that that new world doesn't slip out our fingers by going slack assed, where instead it'd be best brightly to still be engaged in the process of pushing this our new world infant out into the light, otherwise, what cha get? A still born batch 'o absolutely nuthin'.

I understand well what a sabra is...mooshkila? Do you know what a filastini is?

Let's by mindful of there being more than one on going narrative in the Mid-east. Shall we? Mazbut?

There will be points of contention as well as things on which we disagree.

The point to pointedly make I think...is to wait, watch, and see.

@Nick J.W. 1955

Nick, it really is encouraging to read the remarks of an American who knows his American history.

We know Bobby's story, we know he was Jack's brother, we know he was gunned down by an assassin and died, but few look beyond the rote memorirized history of their American pride.

I agree Sirhan's assaissin's bullet was an act of terrorism that was visited on American society long before the toppling of the twin towers.

So. What's to be done?

Do we scatter our enemies to the howling four winds, or do we try a new approach, that can transform old foes into friends?

Change demands choices be made, choices one hopes, that don't include cluster-fuck and invade.

The Disneyfication of Daccau, just don't do it.

You can't take something as beyond the outer limits of inhuman ugliness as ethnic cleansing and clean it up for prettified PG consumption.

Something serious gets lost in the adaptation.
