Ya know..

After a primary that seemed to stretch on for miles, it shouldn't be expected that we're all goodwill and sweet smiles, and after the conclusion of the democratic convention, some will feel sadly stung, and won't hide it behind nice pretensions.

But if anybody after this long journey, is able to see and perceive the so much lager panorama, this is truly one of the most important elections ever coming up, and it is more than strictly a personal drama.

I hope most earnestly that it is broadly understood, that what there is most to consider, is the much larger greater good.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 09:24 AM

@jeb

I think your "filter" is extremely off kilter. You really perceive things in cartoonishly simple terms, but every perogative is yours, though I can't see that there's very much that you've really learned.

If AKASmith were typically emblematic of the average citizen of this nation

It could be said of this country

That it is a repugnant abomination.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 09:51 AM

@soylent

Certainly no sane ones with whom I'm aquainted.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 09:58 AM

@VinnieTheSnake

What an original take.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:10 AM

@wendy

The whole punditocracy is a huge colossal mockery. He said, she said, talking head - put the TV set to bed!!!

Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:32 AM

@AKASmith

You have a beef with Michelle? That I can really tell.

What's wrong?

Do you feel theatened by a strong assertive black woman?

Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:40 AM

@jeb

A stupid pop song was "cruel?"

Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:45 AM

@SilverGuardian

She's serious. Unfriggin' believable.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 10:51 AM

@jeb

Fantasy is a poor crutch, it just leaves you more out of touch.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 11:18 AM

@TRenee

I hear what you say, Smith is just too busy, makin' more hay.

"Forgiveness"

A word you won't hear escape AKASmith's lips, she's still busy fighting world war II, torpedoing those Obama enemy ships. Begrudge with extreme prejudice...!

Thursday, August 28, 2008 11:29 AM

maureen maureen

You're really a scream.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 11:54 AM

"You might as well accept it..

...you're addicted to oral sex.."

Lap it up Bill.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 12:07 PM

Maybe Spinal Tap's

"Lick my Love Pump" would have been more appropriate.

@lilybean

Bill Clinton has adeptly performed already quite enough character assasination on himself, if you're fishing for apologies then you'd might as well sharpen your axe, because Bill himself, employed numerous cheap attacks.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 12:26 PM

@rupert_c

What's with all the friggin' in the riggin'?

Thursday, August 28, 2008 12:34 PM

@MikeLeP

Victimology is the most deeply engrained characteristic in both Smith's and jeb's psychology.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 12:45 PM

@Cynthia

AKASmith only reads and understands what she selects to read and understand. She's a classic passive-aggresive, she humorously touts herself a progressive, when in reality she comes off more as bitter reactionary, and nauseatingly regressive.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 12:49 PM

MikeLeP

I totally agree...it's more of that marvelous victimology.

Good idea

Think big picture - not narrow stricture.

@Drewomino

Well Drewonimo, I'm regret to say, I unleashed my whole "I've really had it" word arsenal out on AKASmith today, I took deep exception at her insistence that Obama "stole" the election, so I had to let loose with some verse, from my WMD section.

Klytus can abide, but Klytus cannot abide, a lie.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 01:55 PM

@jeb

"They weren't bright enough to do white man's work?"

That's really sweet....

You're not a very bright bulb in your very own right, rallying on Hillary, when there no longer exists a fight.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 02:00 PM

@TRenee

I hear you all the way.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 02:07 PM

@AKASmith

You really just fell out of your tree, the whole spectacle of it all is just hilarious to me.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 02:10 PM

@TRenee

Hear that? The Mountain might come to Mohammed. Aren't you honored?

Thursday, August 28, 2008 02:12 PM

@Thadeus

Smith is quite the master of melodrama.

There isn't anything better that you could of said, you'd better get some rest my friend, there's still a long convention up ahead.

@lilybean

I have a simple solution to your info overkill, one which might cause you to resoundingly scoff, the solution to the overbombardment of babbling info noise, is to simply turn the computer and the radio off.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 02:28 PM

@TRenee

Cool.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 03:53 PM

To AKASmith the civil war isn't a reenactment, to her it's still going on, poor AKA, she's just a Johnny reb pawn.

@jeb

Thanks for that analysis, for whatever it was worth, which in my estimation is nothing.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 04:04 PM

@jeb

I quoted exactly what you wrote, it's just too tough for you, if that rocks your little boat.

I have every confidence when again we reach the merry month of May, that jeb will still persist on with the same posts, each and every plodding day.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 05:51 PM

@Santos

I'm with you. I like my democracy without all the worthless punditocracy.

The simplest and probably the best experience of New Orleans

Is to go to Central Grocery, buy a mufalutta sandwich, sit down in Jackson Square, and just watch life go on, with the best lunch there is you can get in the French Quarter.
