I'm a North African American (Libyan-Egyptian)...which from the stand point of some lily whites, might not be black enough.

Personally speaking, I remember the fro quite fondly.

Every once in a while I'll see somebody sporting one and it brings me back to a day of mostly no personal fuss fun, and what many white people back in the 70's, comically considered, the ultimate epitome of militant Afro-centrism.

I just thought they looked cool.

Any social hassles I can't speak for, and should not be shouldered by the fro goer, and just as a matter of taste, because I know there are going to be some sensitive white folks piping up, I just don't care for corn rows.
