@Mike

I know that this'll surprise some of you, but some have had their race held against them their whole lives.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:09 AM

@Mike

I don't think it would at all surprise you, but perhaps it would to some of these other folks that are taking such a hotly indignant view.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:26 AM

@odonnell

Thanks for that fluffy People Magazine post, cos god knows dithering twits like you know first hand about racism the most.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:33 AM

@Mike

maureen just tries to hard, and what she finally deposits just adds up to a pound of lard.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:40 AM

@Tresyk

You seem to come from a position that McCain and Obama colorwise are on even steven ground, I'm not too sure that that argument is really all the way sound.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:48 AM

did you like that much?

jeb is always so much in touch.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:54 AM

@pieceofcake

Release the hounds of the Obamavilles! OOOOWOOOOOO!!!

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:10 AM

Yo Bill O'Rile!

What ever happened to that shit eatin' smile?

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:16 AM

@bringbackmalcolm

Just let jeb have his or her say, I have a feeling that jeb would've voted for Wallace back in the day.

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:24 AM

@jeb

Since it is patently clear that Obama pushes you way out of your comfort zone, you can at least simply vote McCain or green or just sit the whole election out at home.

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:33 AM

@pieceofcake

But all this time I thought that maureen was the princess of the Potterverse.

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:37 AM

@jtanneru

I think KateTex is part of a fringe that would make anyone cringe.

Friday, August 1, 2008 05:45 PM

@jeb

Looks like it's drinkin' the Naderaid or McCain for you, let us all know what decision you finally come to.

Friday, August 1, 2008 06:19 PM

@nana

Speaking of character, it seems in you we have another deep thinker, with McCain on the brain or perhaps another Naderaid drinker. PUMAS walk with stealth, so here's to your health!

Original article: Feminism via soap opera?

Alaik noor ya Mohammed!

It's about time there was a character like Mohammed. In most Egyptian soap operas there is always an old guy who is the head of a powerful family who is always trying to force a poorer family to marry their prettiest daughter off to him. It's what you could call the power mad Muhtar motif, and it returns over and over and over again. This sounds refreshing, and is it really causing ripples of uneasiness and unrest amongst some of the more consevative Muslim ulama? Good, a little shake up of mostly static plot lines and selfish characters is probably what Middle Eastern soaps could use more of. Move over for Mohammed.

Friday, August 1, 2008 06:48 PM

@nana

The middle name is Hussein thang just made your brain go "McCain." I see what you're sayin'..

PUMA on in peace.

Friday, August 1, 2008 06:55 PM

Queen Bee!

What's buzzin' cuz?

Friday, August 1, 2008 07:08 PM

@domini, just let way out there 'ol odonnell be.

for alas indeed it is most sad

but it shall not profit you at all

to argue with the mad.

Friday, August 1, 2008 07:11 PM

Queen...message received

Keep on buzzin' my irate cuzzin'.

Friday, August 1, 2008 07:20 PM

@Queen

At least I ain't been played gulpin' down that 'ol fool Naderaid. Peace.

Friday, August 1, 2008 08:49 PM

@jeb

You too are a pretty unknown quantity, but if I were to guess I'd say you were of the PUMA variety.

Friday, August 1, 2008 09:56 PM

Yeah Queen,

Obama's "the magic negro" and I'm not even braggin', maureen odonnell says, that I'm Klytus the Komodo dragon.

Now that we've got everybody in their right and proper place, can we just continue on in civility, with this continueing presidential race?

Friday, August 1, 2008 10:13 PM

@lateagain

I agree, I don't see anything divisive either. She's sounds pretty straight forward to me.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 07:46 AM

@Only Another Untruth

maureen odowell says domini is far too earnest, while you on the other hand, you it seems are far too single mindedly dishonest. For as far as your prescient powers as an in touch with the world political pundit all go, your powers of insightful observation and prognostication, were always obviously bald facedly biased, awkward, and slow. I'm sorry you don't belive in Obama's new Caliphate for change, with sadly all its usual attendant anxieties, and usual few flashes of fear, but I've been offered a new job to become Obama's new future palace grand vizir.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 07:55 AM

*excuse me odowell

I meant to scribble odonnell, so just call me a damn fool, and my favorite 'o of all, is the always excellant peter 'o toole.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 08:02 AM

@jeb

What protected bubble do you live in? Has nobody used the race tactic perchance with an eye to a win?

Saturday, August 2, 2008 08:13 AM

@Timelagged

I agree. Kirk is a jerk and needs to find real work.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 08:34 AM

@jonathanseer

way out on the lunatic fringe, I am sure you are without an equal peer.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 08:43 AM

Last of the Bohicans

You just do whatever your dear hearts tells you to, and notify me please when your little temper tantrum is through.

Thanks.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 09:05 AM

@nananance

You sure have Obama supporters neatly sized up and tagged, I'd again rise up to their defense, but I really think and feel that your the hollow holiness of your whole harangue has just pointlessly dragged.............

Saturday, August 2, 2008 09:12 AM

@The Last Bohican

I am doing something constructive, you though I fear, have opted for marginal and reductive.

Lol.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 10:28 AM

Whatever Queen

Just stay good and busy, the bumble of your buzz is startin' to make us all feel good and dizzy.

Lol

Saturday, August 2, 2008 10:40 AM

@nananance

nannance, Klytus is always willing to accept an invitation to the dance, but Klytus does not spend idle hours deeply involved in bloody nonsense.

If you can capably bring a reasoned and enlightened argument to the fore, I will begin to take you seriously as something other than a teduious and tritely opinioned bore.

For I am under no illusion at all in a land of pretend, that some sort of perrential silly season has abruptly come to an end.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 10:50 AM

@lellingw

"Hillary yes, Obama never"

You're a little late to reality.

But hey!

Whatever.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 01:42 PM

@whitecat

I'd rather be hilarious than HILLarious.

Have a good one.

Saturday, August 2, 2008 01:53 PM

@Historybuff1

It's an interesting question, but is Obama really black? It's such a captivating question, and I'm sure you're quite a classy as well as clever fellow, but I have always thought Obama to be, a little more "high yellow."

Next...

Original article: The word from an "Obamacon"

@Elephantman

You say you've leaned what a concern troll is? Isn't it exciting to finally find yourself?

Saturday, August 2, 2008 08:42 PM

Whew! O'donnell really fed us her best tossed fruit salad tonight

It was a veritable U.K. tabloid lover's overflowing delight.

All of that "he said, she said" gossip was quite

Titalating and thrilling

But ultimately

I'm afraid

Not very factual in its filling.
