"You lead fish."
No, you lead ducks. Fish, you entice.
The point of Glenn's initial post on this, the one Ezra has apparently misunderstood (purposely?), is that it's difficult to understand how some folks can criticize Ron Paul while at the same time support folks like Reid who is just as much anti-choice (or more so) as Paul.
Glenn's work isn't difficult to follow if one only takes the time to try to comprehend what he's written rather than fast-tracking the blog down to the comments section so that one can display idiocy.
I wish people would take the time to actually read what Glenn says rather than reading into what he says what one wants to hear (or what one doesn't want to hear).
This post was not intended to be a slam at karrsic. His post merely served as a vessel.
Happy Holidays!
Neat trick.
Piss poor shot.
I believe the blog your looking for is two blocks down to the left.
"If African Americans had to endure 50 more years of slavery would that have been acceptable?"
In the interest of accuracy, we should note that at the time in question, African Americans were not bound by slavery. Slaves were not considered Americans.
Proceed.
While in Key West, you might stop by Guy Harvey's new restaurant/pub...the Island Grill. It's located kitty corner across Green St. from Sloppy Joe's (toward the Schooner Wharf Bar). (If you go in the opposite direction on Green St., you'll end up at Captain Tony's Saloon which isn't a bad place to stop and rest whilst turning one's self around.)
Tell the bartender at the Island Grill that you were refered by the father of the Executive Chef (Matt) of the place and you might get a free drink. You might also get thrown out on your ear but I doubt it. It will also help if you can whistle or hum "Buckeye Battle Cry" when ordering.
Good night now.
"You want me to just start churning out analysis just for the sake of it?"
Hell no. I think I can speak for thousands, millions of readers who want you to continue to write about things you know something about rather than pontificating on things which you really aren't up to snuff. If I want to read or watch someone say things about issues they don't know anything about, I'll tune in to Billo or The Odious Mr. Limbaugh.
Frankly, I think I'd rather see another article about FISA for no reason other than to keep that issue on the front burner.
P.S. I used to have hair but one morning I woke up and 'Poof' it was gone. So am I a poofer?
"[...] Deady refused to say why he'd stepped down [...]"- - Greg Sargent
Well, it's pretty obvious to me why he stepped down.
He wanted to get to the other side of the road.
has gone from being a tolerable clown to becoming an ignorant asshole.
Perhaps it's time to recruit a new House Troll.
"It's a good thing our ancestors were too ignorant to understand they couldn't carry on commerce without cash."-- shooter242
"increasingly represented (on the Democratic side) by the Scary, Angry, Intemperate John Edwards campaign."
Are you serious or is this Der snark? It's not often I can't tell with you, but this is one of those times.
"OT - what happens if I go to the Island Grill and sing Carmen Ohio? ;->" - Pedinska.
I will answer this question.
If one Pedinska were to present one's self at the Island Grill and sing even a mediocre version of Carmen Ohio, one would be immediately swept up by the assembled staff and placed upon a a pedestal so high that clouds of joy would obscure one's ears.
I also imagine that one would enjoy a free libation, courtesy of the bartender who also matriculated from THE Ohio State University (after only 11 years of intense study, I might add).
If Carmen Ohio fails to do the trick, paddle your canoe up the street to the Schooner Wharf Bar and get poofed (poufed)(<;)" backatcha) on PiƱa Coladas while listening to Michael McCloud sing his (first wife) Greta's Tits and fending off bar dogs.
"To the rest of us - especially we residents of NYC - the man is worth less than a carton of cigarettes and a sharp piece of metal inside the Big House."
Is that like the potential of getting laid by having a handful of pardons while inside a women's prison?
Please refrain from discussing Mona's posterity.
Thanks.
"Someone else several months ago asked you what you would do when Bush declares you an illegal enemy combatant and puts you out of reach."
That would be me who asked that question.....repeatedly.....and got no answer. I predict that you will receive no answer now either.
"I'm done with you."
Probably a good move. You'll not waste any more time on this dolt.
"Hillary might not be as generous with the pardon pen."
Paul, what makes you think there won't be pardons issued prior to convictions? There is certainly precedence en famille.
It really doesn't matter whether there was or wasn't evidence of a crime on those tapes.
Destroying them precluded anyone with the authority to determine whether the contents of the tapes showed someone committing a crime and that's what's wrong with someone destroying them.
I believe that if it can be proven that the tapes were destroyed after it was clear they might contain evidence of a crime, that's all that's needed to introduce an Obstruction of Justice charge. Evidence, whether it shows guilt or innocence is still evidence and it's up to the courts to determine whether the contents of the tapes contained evidence or not - not some spook.
Muchos gracias.
