You must have seen me yesterday if you saw the other vehicle in the Parish with a Kerry/Edwards sticker.
Moon's daughter done good last night however she still hasn't answered my plea for her to support the Restoration of Habeas amendment however. I have my fingers crossed.

@ Michael Harold
[Read the article: Is the GOP political platform contrary to Catholic teaching?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I just re-read what I posted and I apologize for what must have looked rather pompous.
Folks who are not from Louisiana (I am orginally a Yankee and am currently a Damned Yankee) have no real idea of the politics of this beautiful state and they certainly have not the foggiest notion of politics in Orleans Parish where there are really no such animals as Republicans or Democrats. As a matter of fact, I don't believe the tags (R) or (D) are even used in Orleans Parish.
Statewide, it's probably more accurate to use the tags (L) and (C) rather than (R) or (D) to describe politicians. When one looks at the legislature and sees a majority of (D)s, someone might assume that it's run by the Democrats and is thus liberal or progressive leaning. As you know, nothing could be further from the truth. The truth is that the great majority of politicians from Louisiana should use the tag (W) which is something Sen. Vitter is more familiar with than I.
It surely must have something to do with Napoleon or Lafitte.
Clownsense is King of Bards.

Oh! By the way....
[Read the article: Is the GOP political platform contrary to Catholic teaching?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Something else that has been eating at my craw.
William Jefferson was re-elected to the US House NOT because the voters in New Orleans wanted it that way, he was re-elected because the voters in Conservative Jefferson Parish didn't want his opponent to win the election. This is because his oponent was very vocal about those Oh-So-Righteous and Oh-So-Christian Conservatives in Jefferson Parish physically blocking the exodus of flooded-out New Orleanians (spelled poor Blacks) on the bridge over the Mississippi River in the immediate aftermath of Katrina. It was, in the opinion of those Good Christians, better to force them to stay at the Superdome or Convention Center than to allow them access to Jefferson Parish as a route of escape.
Had the election been limited to Orleans Parish, instead of the entire Congressional district, there's no doubt in my mind that Dollar Bill would be seeking other employment.
Why? Because he got caught.
Damn! Did I get off topic or what......

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Show me where the Bush Administration, or Larry Kudlow, or Jonah Goldberg, or Bill Buckley or Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter or Dinesh d'Sousa or Scooter Libby or Charles Krauthamer or Bill Kristol or any other bogeyman of the right has seriously suggested, as the nameless quoted cruiser carelessly and callously suggested, that some liberals ought ot be thrown into gas chambers, or that there ought to be a suicide bombing of the UN building."
Does John Bolton count?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hit a nerve, eh?
Are you denying that Bolton didn't mean the destruction of several floors at the UN building?
You are truly a piece of work, Dude.
BTW, why do you think it took Bush 6 years to bring North Korea back to the same state it was when he originally took office and then started screwing things up?

[Read the article: How much credence should Gen. Petraeus' reports be given?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"All very true, but OTOH it is required if the very same people who bemoan the ineffectualness of the Feds during Katrina want action. It may be Democrat politics as usual for Governors to deny entry of the National Guard to New Orleans..."
Would you mind telling us what Governor denied entry of National Guard to New Orleans after Katrina?
Hint: It wasn't Blanco.
Shooter, you are truly an Ass.
