I slogged my way through 12 pages of commentary without once coming across a single reference to Walt and Mearsheimer's book, "The Israel Lobby and American Foreign Policy". I hope someone finally brought it up within the confines of this discussion.

With 127 pages of rock-solid footnotes, it sets to rest for all time who is responsible for the quagmire the Middle East has become for the United States.

Discussing the percentage of American Jewish support for the actions and policy decisions of their far-right leadership is a non-sequiter. What I and many others want to know is why so few American Jews publicly disavow the criminal intentions of these, their self-proclaimed leaders in letters to the editor. We all know that if enough of them wrote letters some would be published because the media would be forced to.

Thinking thoughts is one thing - doing something about it is something else entirely.

It wouldn't hurt for Jews everywhere to remember the complicity of American Zionist Jews in the elevation of Hitler and the Nazis to the supreme leadership of Germany back in the 1930's. (If you have any doubts about that claim you should read Edwin Black's book, "The Transfer Agreement". It's a shocking eye-opener that has been unsurprisingly ignored!)

Presently Israel and their Zionist supporters threaten the fundamental security of the United States with their lop-sided, criminal support of racist Israel. American Jews should be publicly joining the rest of the informed population demanding changes to the way America acts in the Middle East if they honestly disagree with the actions of their vocal leadership.

Otherwise, who should care what they privately think? Are they keeping their heads down, meekly expecting to be loaded onto cattle cars once again?

My gawd, I hope not.

You've got Glenn Greenwald's readership all wrong P Dumya - it's not your political placement on a left to right scale that invites the ad Hominems directed your way - it's your dishonesty, your cognitive dissonance, your mean-as-a-junk-yard-dog streak, your inability to reason with or recognize the validity of your sparring partners positions and your unwillingness to reach across the divide in a spirit of conciliation or cooperation.

Face it - you're a Grade “A” Asshole.
