to me the basic fact is that the acoustic analysis done by the senate investigation in the 70's found that the lone gunman scenario was impossible. it seemed that too many shots were fired... from more than one location. ignore the b.s. side issues. it's right there, audio proof of conspiracy.
i like the first letter, suggesting she drain his bodily fluids and prove her love.
don't call attention to yourself and angst around while his family is in crisis. if you can't prove your love and put this all long past right away, deal with it later after the family crisis is over. it's not the time. if you haven't dealt with the death of a parent yet, believe me it's a big deal. he really may need you more than even he knows, his world is turning upside down. try to lay this issue down and just hang in there with him. if you can do that, he'll appreciate you and love you more than you can guess.
like mr. t's forecast for his fight with rocky: pain.
it'll be a race to see who can take tony down first. the brother in law, pauli, chris, his son, the arabs, the russians, all racing to bring tony to his knees before he self destructs and takes himself out! the soundtrack for the last episodes may as well feature opera music. they may as well have a final scene like hamlet, they all kill each other in the same room and each make a final speach.
we don't honor soldiers for killing, we honor them for risking death...
and i agreed with the comments regarding respite care, housecleaning, and general support for grandpa and the aunt. that's the heart of the situation, the dog is a symptom.
if you happen across 'disturbia' on tv, see what you think. my wife likes shia le beuf a great deal. he seems to have some depth to him for a young kid... at least he doesn't whisper like so many damn grown up actors do. i can't stand to see christian bale, for example, 'cause you can't hear a damn thing he says.
yikes. it was pointed out that the lakers scored more in three quarters the other day than both the celts and cavs in their entire game... very hard to watch east coast ball.
the cavs would up at the end of the game with nobody who would take a shot other than james. it's too much. and, when it came down to it, they lost the jump ball! james got outhustled so bad on that play, seemingly because he'd been carrying a whole city on his back.
the spurs are deadly. they're pros, they've played together for years. tough. but, for heaven's sake, that duncan puppy dog face is too much. and somehow, i am so annoyed by ginobli. what a stupid foul by him at the end of the first half in game 7. horry -- he's turned in a cheap shot artist, which is too bad. he really crushed west with that foul to the back in game 6. look for him to lay out at least a couple of rough fouls that may or may not be so obvious.
but they make their shots and they're tough as hell on defense. seems to be perfect playoff basketball...
but as a lakers fan since magic, i like the lakers style and i think they have a pretty good chance. both of these teams can win on the road. both have a bunch of players who can make plays at crunch time (unlike the cavs or celts, sorry). i expect to see a monster series that could go either way. sorry wes... the players on the court don't lay down, they fight it out face to face. this series isn't in the bag, it's going to be a classic.
listen, you're going way beyond NIMBY (not in my bacy yard) you're into NIYBY (not in your backyard) territory.
make a sound barrier and play music.
we've got a windchime that our neighbors are split on, the wife loves it and the husband hates it. it's a great running joke.
don't be a jackass, just adjust. good luck.
there's no question the spurs have parker, duncan and ginobli, who are all confident taking shots in crunch time. the role players are confident too. they're a dangerous team.
but as a lakers fan, a tremendous win with a young team coming together. here's hoping they can continue to come together as a team. nice to see radmanovich score 5/5... and farmar played confidently too. love it.
...and regular duty army and guard since 1994, i've got to say the efforts by army command to set a tone and provide support are pretty good. our local vet counseling center, where i go for help with post traumatic stress disorder, added a female counselor three months ago and my wife is very glad to be able to see a female.
briefings regarding sexual harassment and the hotline for reporting crimes like rape and assault are required twice a year i think.
but, you'll find everything stupid in the army. so X amount of sexual crime is there along with X amount of any bad behavior. there's all kinds of risky behavior, criminal behavior, etc.
there's some very tough female soldiers on the front lines. many times i've seen females pulling duty as gunners as well as other combat patrol duties. it's not that they're in a combat unit, but in Iraq there's no safe area outside the wire so every mission is a combat mission.
thank you to female veterans!
