Original article: "Mamma Mia!"

Mamma is FUN!!!

To pick apart this effort of some great actresses and actors is ludicrous -- it is a phenomena and lets us all experience the positive ABBA soundtrack with an uplifting story of love lost and found and always there... such as mother and daughter and friendship! It is much more grounded in real life than any reviewer who grew up in the last 20 yrs would understand. It was loads of fun and will probably be as popular as Grease when all is said and done. I am grateful to Tom Hanks and Rita wilson for producing this film so that I could share it with all in my life. It was alot of fun! Lyn Starrs-Zorn

another democrat for mccain

Once again we americans can observe the very rich liberals supporting this democratic nominee. The outcome of this election will not impact them or their children, who all have trust funds . Don't know why this GK article strikes a cord with me -- I am a democrat-- who cannot in good conscience vote for my party's nominee-- he does not speak to my concerns-- he offers nothing, never been tested and has a huge amount of arrogance. After 2 years in the senate he believes he has what it takes to be president! Any one who sits in a church spewing hatred of others and the USA for 20 years has a character flaw, implicit in this church membership is agreement with this ugliness. He does not deserve the opportunity to serve as president. Leadership is developed through education, experience and role models--only John McCain has had this.GK, it has nothing to do with computer skills! Just an aside McCain had the benefit of having 2 parents that made the responsible choice to stay around in his life and not abandon him for grandparents and prep schools to raise. His family knows what service to country is and has proven this. The only colors that matter are red, white and blue and those are the colors of McCain.

no experience!

It is very clear the presumptive democratic nominee has nothing to offer the American people--Hope and change are great slogans but they are empty-he has no substance.... He has NO EXPERIENCE,NO LEADERSHIP ability and tremendous baggage-His church, along with other issues-He and his family have no idea about the military families or the desire to serve. His wife has no idea about being a military spouse! He has no experience in the economy/business or running anything. We do not need another lawyer in Washington!I believe McCain is the only choice available-we need his bipartisan approach and independent thought to get us through this.McCain has what it takes to be president for all Americans.

leadership or ??

Do you want leadership or a computer geek to lead our country? Most of us over 35's struggle with technology-- it is a tool not a way of life and certainly not a requirement to lead the USA.

Original article: The Democrats get religion

hatred is hatred

For 20 yrs obama sat in a church that preached hatred== I have never heard that kind of vile ugly and yes-- racist words in any christian church I have had the opportunity to attend-- If I had I definitely wouldn't have returned, named my book after one of the sermons or permitted my children to hear such hatred over and again. Call it like it really is... Racist and hate filled and anti american and the obamas were active members of this.

their choice of church is proof.

This isn't a smear-- there is some truth to Michelle Obama being racist--- their church and her writings and statements-- "first time I have been proud to be american!!"Open your eyes America. We can not elect a president based on affirmative action- he doesn't have the qualifications.

Original article: Who is Sarah Palin?

Finally a Woman!

Home run for McCain and the republicans!! I am another democrat for McCain and esp. Palin! My daughter and son can vote for a ticket with lots to offer to America.

experience?

I am so pleased the media was surprised-- tread lightly on this experience concept-- if you don't think PTA is community organizing -- you are mistaken. She has huge amounts of experience to offer Americans- married, 5 children , college graduate, degree other than law!!,past affiliation with unions and membership, outside beltway, ethics and values--obviously her son has volunteered to serve. Being involved in local government and as a state governor is about as much executive experience as you can get in politics. Plus she has taken on big oil and her own party and succeeded.I am proud she happens to be female.I am a prochoice democrat who will take a chance on this token.

Republican deserve their chance.

Madden you must really hate republicans-- this is pure garbage. No one knew Katrina was going to be so devastating and destructive! Let's hope and pray that all are well in the hurricane-- give us a break with this negative crap you have written-- I am sick of it from the democrats and the media --one in the same. No matter what Bush does he'll be Satan-- millions have been spent on New Orleans-- It was a natural disaster give it a break--The folks in the midwest suffered disasterous flooding this year but that hasn't grabbed your attention. Racism is ugly. McCain is NOT Bush!! The democrats have alienated a fair number of us so I'm another democrat voting for McCain/Palin and reform.

Wednesday, September 3, 2008 06:58 AM

See what she's got before u toss her!

The media is sore over not being included in McCain's professional decision so they are out to cut her to shreds--They'll show him!!Vindictive and nasty especially fueled by the liberal folks. Their darling the not prepared for presidency Obama didn't pick a qualified female because she was more prepared than the top of the ticket.Too bad! McCain used his judgement on this VP choice. Is it so unbelievable that a woman can do it all--this is really sexist/disappointing on the part of democrats/media.
