This is why it is almost all men involved: It is always compensation for shriveled manhood. Look a the teabaggers, most of them so disgustingly obese it shriveled up into their fat rolls and hasn't been seen for years.
It doesn't take just gay men to realize this, women know it instinctively. There is NO case of a guy with a monster truck who is NOT compensating for something way too small. Same with war bravado, always the chickenhawk and NEVER guys who actually fight the wars.
I gave up on con boyfriends years ago when I realized how pathetically sexually dysfunctional they are. It isn't just that it is shriveled, it is ALWAYS the closet, ALWAYS domination issues with women who rightfully guffaw at their shortcomings.
