@karen22

Grow up? No, how about you grow up?

Do you want war in Iran? Millions of lives are at stake.

Do you want to stay stuck in Iraq for 100 years?

Do you want to pay $8 a gallon for gas?

Do you want a national constitutional ban on gay marriage?

Do you want to end women's reproductive rights, such as they are?

Well, a McCain win makes all these and more a distinct possibility.

And if you think me telling someone considering a "in spite" vote for McCain to go fuck themselves is childish, you should hear some of the things that have come out of McCain and his supporters mouths. He called his wife a cunt. His supporters called Hillary a bitch, ON NATIONAL TELEVISION. He didn't bat an eye. He sought the endorsement of someone who thinks Hitler was a gift from God. Literally!

If you are seriously considering doing anything that would make it easier for that lunatic to get the White House come January, you are seriously deranged.

@azintp

Anyone who votes for McCain and claims to be a feminist is a moron.

I'm not stupid, I'm pissed. You won't listen, fine. You're free to vote for whomever you want to vote for.

Ever since January, Clinton supporters have been trying to nag their way into the White House, and their movement leader has played every card in the deck from coy to wounded to tough to experienced to, inexplicably, a civil rights leader.

It's got under my skin. You know who should be getting an apology? Me. I've had to endure months of this nonsense, brow-beating, identity politics bullshit and it's going to take away the "one sure thing" I could have counted on after 2006 - that a Democrat would be president in January 2009.

That's my sense of entitlement. That's my rage.

I can think of nothing more childish, nothing at all, that the prospect of any number of Clinton supporters "taking their ball and going home."

How dare you question my intelligence, commitment or maturity? There is a war raging, and another one coming. People's bodies torn limb from limb. Innocent people. Children.

And some people don't have the presence of mind to think about anyone but themselves. Its absolutely disgusting. It's beyond immature, it's downright sociopathic.

@ohmercy

I'm thinking maybe we need a coalition of men and women who understand what the hell went down there to begin that process. If we are even remotely successful I say we draft Clinton in 20012.

Jesus, if she's still alive in 20,012, then experience will not be an issue -- she wins hands down!

I can't wait..

Until 2010 when we have a firm majority in the senate and that fucking Ferangi can be swept into the dustbin of obscurity.

Rhinestone Clintuplicans

Middle-aged woman or not, black, white, hermaphrodite, gay, dwarf, whatever. If you were a Clinton supporter who is now voting for McCain the only explanation that makes any sense I have come up with after much introspection is that you greedy little pigs just don't want to give up your tax breaks.

If the shoe fits..

Watching Frontline "Bush's War"..

Still, in my heart of hearts, yearning for President Kucinich.

Good speech, very magnanimous, well crafted, and well delivered.

Excellent

All I want for Christmas is the public excoriation and ostracization of Joe Lieberman, fricken turncoat douche.

Kucinich for President!

Oh.. too late.

Re-elect Dennis Kucinich for Congress!

Quick survey of the letters..

Confirms my belief that there's really not much point in reading Salon.com letters anymore, as editor Joan Walsh has allowed the site to become overrun with nasty little Rethuglican trolls.

Good day!
