Blame where blame belongs..

This was a Republican plot to divide the Democratic party. Clap. Clap. Clap. Bravo.

Of course, jeers to Clinton for playing along, but that was a fete accompli from the beginning.

Also, you're a hack..

Two paragraphs about the more substantive news about the seating of Florida and Michigan delegates, then endless pointless paragraphs about Obama's church problems (largely the result of White racists like yourself).

Here's the numbers:

noise@neu [12:54](1):1618:~> wc /tmp/clinton

3 150 968 /tmp/clinton

noise@neu [12:54](1):1619:~> wc /tmp/obama

9 584 3460 /tmp/obama

You, in 150 words, skimmed over the fact that your candidate's inevitable loss is now fully a fete accomplis. I am talking of course of Hillary Clinton, who in February swore up and down that the excluded state's delegates would never be seated and in May cast the issue as a civil rights struggle.

Two words for you, Joan: sore loser.

Then you flap your fingers on your poor, punished keyboard for 584 words about how much you don't understand, but are vaguely terrified of black people and their colorful, lively church sermons. Lordy lordy!

Please explain..

I'm still having a hard time understanding why overt expressions of disillusionment and anger from the pulpits of an institutionally oppressed minority is news and the appalling hate speech from pastors like Reverend Hagee is not.

How is this not a massive, glaring double standard? The invective spewed forth by Hagee is truly appalling and devoid of even a shred of truth or rightness. Hitler was sent by God to force the Jews back to Israel? I'm sure Anne Franck would beg to differ, if she could. That pretty much blows Reverend Wright's conspiracy theories about AIDS right out of the water.

If you think that the stuff dug up and hung out on the news and YouTube from Trinity is deplorable, you should hear some of the fucked up shit said weekly and daily in white churches. Just because a large number of white people accept and embrace it doesn't give it any more legitimacy than any other form of hate speech.

Sure, quitting Trinity is for Obama a political calculation. Maybe Senator Obama also feels that in distancing himself from the church then the people who congregate there will be left the hell alone. McCain sought out that lunatic Hagee for specific political gains. Yet from now until November the Trinity congregation will have to endure relentless scrutiny whereas no one will blink at the xenophobic backwards racist Hagee and his flock.

In harping on Obama and his church of 20 years you Joan Walsh are perpetuating that unequal standard applied by the majority on the minority from your position of authority. You are in a position of authority, and you can choose whether or not you will be truly fair or balanced. So far, you have not been.

See..

See what happens when you associate with lunatics that believe in invisible sky fairies with wings?

Keep the faith Barack, the country may be ready for a black president or a woman president, but we are far too stupid to accept an atheist president.

(No offense intended to McCain, we've already had an ancient animatronic president in Reagan).

Better idea

Why not play by the original, agree-upon fucking rules and not give any votes at all to Clinton, whose version of Calvin-ball for "grown-ups" is making more than a few people sick to their stomachs?

How about that?

@somenyguy

She can expect to face a passionate and vigorous challenge if/when she runs for reelection here in New York.

Yep, her career in New York is pretty much over. Maybe she can run for Senator or Governor of Texas, where she will find the support of knuckle-draggers like KateTex (I still have my doubts "she" is a she or from Texas at all, but the benefit of the doubt is granted in this case).

Clinton 2012? Forget about it. If Obama wins in November, it will be Obama for 8 years. If McCain wins, the metaphorical angry mob will be out for blood with their torches and pitchforks.

Either way, Clinton is done.
