My god, reading Salon anymore has become as unbearable as watching Lifetime ('television for idiots' -Family Guy). Not because there is more feminism than I can stand, if anything Salon is devoted to feminism lite(tm), but rather Joan Walsh has turned Clinton into some Meridith Baxtor-Burney chariacture for the post-menopausal set to rally behind. It is identity politics in a year we cannot afford them, and identity politics with little or no substance.

Here are the issues:

Getting out of war,

Holding government accountable,

Building coalitions,

Repairing the damage done to the labor class and middle class,

Unfucking education,

Unfucking health care

Hillary's campaign is goddamned over, and if she wants to try to scuttle Obama in order to run against McCain in 2012 then I have every right to call her a cunt, an asshole, a bitch, a jerk or a dick. Take your pick.

I cannot fathom why she is still in this race, other than to be a pest. I cannot understand how any self-respecting feminist could sit around and manufacture contraversy day after day without feeling like you have sold out the principals of feminism in the end.

Clinton is just not sufficiently anti-war or pro-labor for me, and that's just for starters. The fact is she lost. I could support her if the facts were otherwise (anyone but McCain), but she lost and its over.

Your coverage is making you look like a clown, and the (dwindling) HRC supporters on here are sounding more and more detached from reality.

Barack Obama is a winner, and he wins by playing fair and giving the people what they want. What they want is to be treated like adults, not pawns. If anyone, Hillary is the most condescending, smug, arrogant candidate that has swaggered along since the alcoholic son of a former president failed his way into the White House. Twice.

One more thing, Chris Matthews is sexist, worse, a moron. I don't watch him. Ever. They guy represents everything that is wrong with the media. Don't conflate him with Keith Olbermann, a better, smarter host and an American hero and patriot.

I watched the Friday Countdown, wherein Olbermann clearly apologized for the choice of pronoun, stated that he was using a common analogy and in no uncertain terms denied implying anything, in his words, "untoward" happening to Clinton.
