  • Obama Supporters

[Read the article: Nagourney: "At least one scenario where Clinton could win"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Why do so many pro-Clinton arguments start with "Obama supporters raised the spectre of.."

Does anyone else smell bullshit? I'm a Obama supporter, guess what I called Clinton last night over dinner with friends? I'll leave it to your imagination.

Except, here's the thing, try to follow along, I don't work for Obama. I'm not an Obama surrogate.

And I'm not Mark Penn, Terry Mcauliff, James Carville, Geraldine Ferarro or Bill Clinton himself. Worse, some of the more damaging stuff comes straight from the horses mouth.

These people, on the payroll of HRC for President, simply cannot control themselves. They are pathologically cutthroat. They are get lathered up in gleefull shadenfreude at the slightest evidence of the Obama campaign wearing down so much that they do not even hear it when they mouth a breathless endorsement for the F*CKING REPUBLICAN NOMINEE.

To quote Elliott Smith, "deaf and dumb and done."

Please just stop it already. The jig is up. Go home, because if you win the primary with these dirty tricks, I might as well vote Nader or Ron Paul or write in "hope deferred". Because I will be a stolen primary.

  • A better plan

[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]

Would be to just sit back and let her do what comes naturally to her. That would leave more money in the coffers for the McCain swearing-in bonanza.

  • um..

    [Read the article: Obama-Bloomberg '08?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

seriously? this is news? this is even remotely possible?

come on.. how much does campaigning for clinton pay, really?

    = Crypto Zionist?

Who are you kidding, Uncle Joe, the Senator from Tel Aviv? Please go back to your Ferangi home-world and stop calling yourself a Democrat.

  • It's all clear now,

[Read the article: Fred Kagan on Monday: "The civil war in Iraq is over"]

Obviously, Neoconservatives are all adherents to "The Secret".

Readers of UT, all we need to do is "ask the Universe" for what we want and BLAMMO!

Or maybe they are crypto Scientologists, in which case we are all really and truly fscked.

  • Absolutely

[Read the article: Can abortions lead to mental illness?]

But only in middle-aged white men.

  • We wouldn't be having this problem if..

[Read the article: Rum, Romanism and James Carville]

Hillary would just fscking DROP OUT ALREADY..

  • The Penn and McAulife show

[Read the article: Hillary's team crosses the line]

That line got crossed a long time ago, Joe.

  • Jesus christ

[Read the article: Why John Edwards hasn't endorsed Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What, is this an episode of "In Treatment?" Mr. Good Hair's feelings were hurt? A spousal feud? Obama was a big jerk because he knew he had this buttoned up?

    I give up.

  • Born in the USA

[Read the article: Barack Obama, working-class hero?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

2008 Presidential election, short version: choose between the old rich white guy, the rich white woman lawyer or the rich black lawyer.

  • Nom de plume

[Read the article: Barack Obama, working-class hero?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Clinton assisted Walmart in its end-run around organized labor in this country, and her husband went the step further in helping to pass NAFTA. She is no working class hero, but I can think of a descriptor that fits. Starts with "C".

Actually, polls have been showing that a much larger percentage of Hillary supporters intend to vote McCain. It's called reality....haven't been around that much, have you?

Yes, and those would be the war-mongering Zionist branch of the extreme right-wing faction of America's Demopublican Party. They, and the people they support, can jump off a cliff.

Also, they are in the minority.

America doesn't want to keep killing its children in defense of Israel and Saudi Arabia. They want jobs and peace.

  • Yes..

[Read the article: Virginity: The new feminism?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

All women have a right to prostrate themselves before an imaginary (and male) God. The 19th Century is calling and wants its sexual politics back.

  • Hah

[Read the article: Virginity: The new feminism?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Hah! I wish I had an inalienable right to choose to have sex. The choice that should be inalienable is only the choice to say "no" - "yes" requires a partner, who should also be able to say "no"...

The employees of "Good Vibrations" might take offense at that claim.

  • Happy Birthday Me

[Read the article: "Great American Hypocrites: Toppling the Big Myths of Republican Politics"]

Al Gore, Christopher Walken and most notably, "Countdown: with Keith Olbermann."

Watching his show over the past several months, and more closely over the past few weeks I have noticed a trend:

Greenwald picks up on an issue, runs with it.

It gets picked up or written about in parallel on DKos or HufPo, etc.

A day or two later, Olbermann mentions the issue in the Countdown.

Recently, the lag time of this news cycle has shortened even more.

Glenn, I understand you do not agree with everything Olbermann seems to stand for and vice-versa, but I can't think of a better birthday gift for me than to have you on Countdown once or twice a week from now until November hammering these media lowlifes from Olbermann's pulpit.

Also, see if your agent can get you on the Colbert Report.

I already ordered your book back months ago when it was on pre-sale on Amazon, and I expect I will be ordering more very soon. Good luck and keep up the good work.
