Even in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, where the economy was rated one of the worst in the nation for a major city over the last several decades, chef-owners like Paul Manillo, Michael Symon and Karen Smalls are sourcing their food locally and seasonally (which is neither cheap nor always practical, but the best effort is made).

If an underpaid Mexican with carpal tunnel syndrome is dropping Matrix-grown beef onto shit-soaked floors, maybe the enablers of NAFTA and corporate welfare for the largest food producers in America should stand and be counted.
