I congratulate Sen. Dodd, and donated again to his campaign last night, for his efforts. Far from being futile, I think that supporting such candidates, despite the sneering dismissal of the MSM and his Senate colleagues, is crucial, simply because our efforts and money are actually noticed.

Hillary and the top candidates, rolling about in their multimillions, simply don't know or care when a lot of small contributions roll in, or a lot of accollades are showered, and for good reason. They have long since stopped caring what the unwashed masses are thinking, just as the ocean doesn't resond to another teaspoon of water.

Further, those within the beltway, even those who know better, have been relentlessy regaled with the unanimous punditocracy knowingly declaring that these defining constitutional issues are too "complicated," or worse, "fringe."

The very fact that the pathetic Harry Reid isn't the irrelevant backbencher he was born to be is a product of this thinking. His Mormonism and pro-life positions were actually seen as an asset by Democrats so deluded by Serious Washington thought. Webb?) whose physical presence, personality, size, and voice at least might at least lead him to be cast in that role by a film director.
