Arianna usually provides links at the Huff Post to all her tv appearances. She does not however provide one for the show in which she and Glenn both appeared. I wonder why not?

I noticed the same thing. This is an absolute first. She ALWAYS shows every one of her performances on TV, and it's always at the top of the page (the absolute best real estate). If she's advocating for war with Iran then that should be HUGE NEWS on her own site, but her only commentary over there posted seems to be about her belief that potential peace in the middle east between the Zios and the Pals is still alive and well.

She's behaving really sinister about this.

I think the point is, Israel isn't interested in bombing Iran because they see Iran as an existential threat. They want to bomb Iran, because they want to be the sole nuclear power in the region. That essentially gives them complete hegemony. They can continue to bomb any neighboring country and kill thousands of civilians and infrastructure without any fear of retaliation, or meaningful response ....

If Iran gets nuclear warheads it means Israel loses some of its bully power. It would then need to think long and hard before decimating Lebanon should Hezbolah kidnap an Israeli soldier, etc..

That's what this is all about.

I believe Likud's incentive to bomb Iran now is that they want to do it before American troops are withdrawn from Iraq. There's a big possibility that Iran will retaliate by firing upon American troops both in Iraq and in the gulf and that would then drag the US into a new war/occupation ... at which point Israel could back off into a defensive posture and let the American troops/taxpayers bare the burden.

I think it should be noted, that Arianna was invited to Israel over the last couple of weeks where she's been getting coached by Israeli propagandists. Her recent posts on HP have appeared somewhat balanced, throwing some stones here and there to the Pals, but I think the underlying strategical objective of the Israelis is to get the American Left on board before the bombing, or at least make them a bit less skeptical of the Iranian threat, by getting their biggest blog owner/voice to sell their message.

I was shocked to see her there trying to demonize Iran, and more or less, advocating for bombing them.

This is all now a political imperative by Likud and the Obama Administration to take a skeptical American public (especially on the Left) and try to incrementally bring them over or at least not be so skeptical. They are targeting the Arianna Huffingtons and others to carry their water, realizing the old media is less trusted than the political blogs, these days, after the Iraq lie.

Notice how that guy got Glenn off the phone quickly, but kept the two who wanted to bomb Iran on (including Arianna) to discuss it longer ....

And Asst Sec of State, Posner, strategically states that Israel should investigate the Gaza bombing war crimes, as documented by the Goldstone report as some sort of smoke screen. As if to infer we're not completely on Israel's leash.

It appears that the selling of the bombing of Iran is underway, and Arianna Huffington is to be one of their new mouth pieces.
