"Ken Starr, not the media, found out about Lewinsky."

What are you smoking? Can I get some? And whatever you were reading may I suggest a better, more environmentally friendly use for those sheets of paper.

Lewinsky's name first surfaced in the Drudge Report. Is that what you were reading back then? It is rather difficult to wipe your ass with a flat screen monitor, but in Drudge's case, it's worth a try?

"The Republicans have completely lost touch with reality."

I think that's an over-simplification and not a precise enough description of what's going on. Paul can speak to that if he wishes. If Bill Clinton had been a Republican, (he was the best "Republican" president since Eisenhower), non partisan approach to politics might make sense. In the current unbalanced political landscape, non-partisanship is suicidal.

I never said I was going to ignore you.

You were hoping I would. I just said I was done with you for the evening.

Long Without Medication ...

... did not keep his promise to ignore me. And here I had such high hopes.

You wrote: "If only FDR had worked and starved the internees to death, and gassed and incinerated those too weak to work..." If he had done so, he would have been operating labor camps or death camps. I wrote "concentration camps" and I think that's a pretty fair description of the WWII interment facilities, as the point was to concentrate the Japanese-American populations in locations where they could be easily policed. If you think I'm being too hard on FDR's policy of rounding up and jailing American citizens based on their ethnicity, I'd love to read your thoughts, especially if you could arrange to have them sent over in the original red crayon. That would be swell.

As for the castrations and disfiguring borings into nose cartilage ... I live in Virginia, so I'll definitely keep that in mind the next time I find myself inclined to a vigorous episode of sodomy. Thanks for the heads-up. I was wondering what happened to all those girls I see protesting in front of the White House. Who knew? Some of them must be repeat offenders.

I know that it must be intolerable for you to encounter opinions at variance with your own. Earlier it was burning down my house and shooting me, then accusing me of being a candidate for public office(!); today it's only a straitjacket. We're making progress.

Here are some pictures of "concentration camps" for you. So you can recognize the difference. Another name for them is "death camps".

Please continue to suck shit out of my ass. It saves a tree that I can hug later. You I wouldn't even give a reach around.

Your knowledge of history is typically conservative

"Of course they are not the same as the Nazi death camps, something so obvious I felt no need to point it out."

No one knew they were "Nazi death camps" except for a very few members of the Nazi party and the SS. I wonder if FDR had postcards dispatched to friends and family saying, "Hi! Having a wonderful time!" The SS did. I don't give a rat's ass if Hill finds you amusing. I don't. If I were you I'd take your crayons and eat them by yourself, like you usually do.

And furthermore...

If it was 1941, and there were al-Qaeda submarines off our shores, after having just destroyed most of our fleet in a surprise attack, you might be in favor of "interning" some Muslims yourself. So please, ram your little crayon back up your ass and then pretend it's a green lollipop.

It's not the differing views, it's the idiots that usually come with them.

And you a particularly obtuse one...

I don't believe that justice or progress come from the state or from the law in any large degree.

Where does justice come from, genius? The barrel of a gun? The ever powerful and magical market? Can you even define "justice"? "Progress"? For you, given your fascination with crayons and lollipops, progress must be a 64 box, non-toxic with a built-in sharpener.

I think those tools aren't even neutral, but are in most instances more likely to be used for destructive ends than for productive ends.

Duh. Name one "tool" (aside from yourself) that can't do harm in the wrong hands, but can do wonders in the right hands.

Look no further than New Orleans and see the awesome power of the federal government in the wrong hands. Oh, wait. You can't. Most of it is gone for good.

Here's the originator of the concentration camp, genius. Apologize to FDR or FOAD.

B-b-but...

There are "regal qualities that were not seen in South Carolina. This is the procession, this is the parade..."

“There is a hierarchical, there is, dare I say it, male, there’s an old-line quality to them that some voters, indeed a lot of voters, find reassuring.”

They could be talking about a pride of lions in a zoo or a troop of baboons in the monkey cage.

I have to admit...

As much as Ron Paul scares me for other reasons related to race and such, he sounds the least offensive to me. It's a sad day for America when one realizes that this is what remains of the Grand Old Party.

My favorite answer was Duncan Hunter's response to What does the federal government do best or well or whatever. Smart munitions delivery. That is a sickness.
