Oh Browndwarf65
[Read the article: Saudi court stands by sentence of rape victim ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]At least you got the first 4 words of your description right. A Male Nobody Tool
You make less sense every time you post. Soon you'll just be hitting random keys. I'd say quit while you're ahead, but you've been a behind ever since you started posting here.
For you to equate your still being a dateless virgin at 50 to what happened to this poor girl simply shows that you haven't the slightest bit of empathy or capacity for reason.
Please, heed the words of Mark Twain who said "It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt."
If you're quiet long enough, perhaps some of the doubt will return.

[Read the article: Saudi court stands by sentence of rape victim ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Wow, you really, really don't want there to be any doubt, do you?
1) No, there really isn't. Not by any definition of the word "war".
2) You could care less? How much do you care then? Must be quite a bit if you keep yelling about it. I believe you meant to say you couldn't care less and that's good, 'cause none of them care what you think. Men also do not care what you think. Dogs don't care what you think. Hell you probably don't care what you think. That is fairly evident from your posts here.
3) Hooray! Everyone loves a cliche! Or is that parade. So hard to keep track these days.
What pisses ME off about your posts is how self-centered, self-pitying, hate-filled, erroneous and ignorant they are.

NPR
[Read the article: Ask the pilot]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Heard you on NPR today. I missed them introducing you and when I heard you say that the problem isn't in the air, it is on the ground I knew it was either you or that I'd have to write to tell you about it. I was hoping it'd be the latter so I'd know you were gaining some traction.
You were concise, clear and forceful. I was impressed and hope you get more chances to make your case in the national media more often.

Missing the point
[Read the article: Is race dying? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It is interesting that most all of the letter writers have apparently misread the column. Mr. Kamiya wrote that race is dying as an issue, not that it is dead as an issue. There's a huge difference between dying and dead. Lots of these responses consist of "of course there's still racism", but that's not the point. Race is far less important today than it was 10 years ago, let alone 50 years ago and it is continuing to decrease in importance.
It is as though someone pointed to a sapling and said "that tree is growing" and you all responded that this is nonsense because it isn't a fully grown tree.
Racism is indeed dying in this country, but it is a slow process. Statistically people just don't have the same attitudes they used to and as the older generations die out, you'll see race matters less and less. I'm not saying no younger people are racist, I'm saying the racist ones are a smaller portion of each generation.

Don't you think before you post?
[Read the article: GDrive: The Google hard drive is coming]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Google's jilted spouse isn't going to slip in late at night and rifle through your external hard drive. Yours could.
Since Google is going to be just like another external hard drive, what's the point of including this? Keeping it on their site won't protect you from this at all, she'd just access it like anything else.
And you miss the biggest disadvantage. Sure it is great for backup, but if your internet connection goes down you can't access your documents. And what happens to them if you stop paying for a paid account?

Mikes Pace
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I will remember Maurice Clarett ripping the ball back from Taylor after an interception in the greatest game ever played.
Sean Taylor and Maurice Clarett played for the Giants and/or Colts in 1958? Wow, they're a lot older than they look. You're apparently pretty old yourself.
I argue that Sean Taylor is the epitome of our culture.
You can argue it all you want, you're still wrong.
he carries a machete apparently.
He didn't carry a machette, he had it in his bedroom in case of intruders.

Don't blow your spot in the standings
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No pick King? You should make one before gametime so you don't conceed a game to the people who are picking in your contest. (Hint: Take the Packers)

Ron Paul
[Read the article: Ron Paul's free, green market ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Naieve, Frightened, Simple-Minded, Ignorant and Just Plain Wrong. Ron Paul in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen. Doesn't understand the science, afraid of government, too trusting of corporations, thinks the courts can handle everything and that apparently everything is in their jurisdiction and ignores the international aspects. Tell me why we should elect someone to government that thinks government is bad? He wants to abdiacte all responsibility to the courts. That's just what we need, a MORE litigious society.

College Football and Academics
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We often discuss this here and since college football is mentioned again, I figure this is fair game today. One of the reasons put forward for college players being paid is that they don't actually get much of an education while in college. Since so few college players make it in the NFL and fewer still make it long enough to be set for life, an actual education would seem quite valuable for when they're no longer playing.
The man in line to become the next Packers president is Northwestern University athletics director Mark Murphy. He's quoted about this very thing in PackersNews.com today from an older interview with Pro Football Weekly.
"I don’t think there is anything wrong with being competitive and striving to win," Murphy said in a 2003 interview with Pro Football Weekly. "But in the process of doing it, you have to make sure you aren’t sacrificing your academic standards and ignoring the educational opportunities for your students."
While he seems like he'll be a good fit for the Packers, it is a shame someone with this attitude is leaving the college system.
