Heffalump again

Thanks for the synopsis of what Fox News has told you to think.

NO ONE thinks Wolfowitz committed any crime! Well, at least no one who is a serious person of real responsibility in the world

So you think he committed a crime then? Make up your mind!

You continue to live in your little world where it is perfectly normal for men to set their mistresses up in positions of power with inordinately huge salaries, just please, stop fantasizing about it here. You scream and cry about Clinton having a consentual affair with the woman receiving no "bonuses", but when one of your own not only has an affair, but rewards the woman with a huge pay raise, etc, that's perfectly fine.

Original article: Wolfowitz agrees to quit

Hey heffalump

Wolfowitz tried to reform the European social meddling and get them to focus on financial aid? Sure. That's why the only real chnage he'd made, other than forcing out highly qualified people and giving his girlfriend extra cash, was to remove all references to birth control. Wow, I'm sure the loans they give out will be better now!

wadsworth

Would it make you happy if they change the word Siphoned to Pumped? Heaven forfend that someone use a word that isn't precise when telling an anecdote!

brightstar65 and the 1 second attention span

He doesn't even listen to himself, there's no reason for you to pay any attention. He's an idiot, plain and simple. In his first post on this thread he states that Men breed with any woman that offers, they don't choose. TWO lines later he states how men choose. Brilliant!

Disconnect

It is amazing to me that they can claim this is a Christian Nation with one breath and then complain that Christians are persecuted with the next. This seems to be a good example of their insanity. They continually hold two comtradictory ideas in their heads at the same time. This seems to hold true for much of their governing "philosophy".

DK

Jello Biafra said everything that needs to be said about American Idol decades ago, and I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out.

Is my cock big enough

Is my brain small enough

for you to make me a star

Give me a toot

I'll sell you my soul

Pull my string and I'll go far!

Why have you stopped providing a name since Salon started asking for one? You are Patricia, right? That might not be the right name, since it has been awhile since I've seen you post with your name, but you've still been fairly active in posting. Every time I see someone posing about pot or the California Prison system, with that style of writing, I know it is you. Start signing your name again! Yes, you have one note and refuse to tell us exactly what your personal stake is in all this, though it is blatantly obvious that you have one, but still, it'd be nice to see who we're reading without having to guess.

Prius nonsense

Prius ... 100,000 miles - the expected lifespan. The Hummer ... an expected lifetime of 300,000 miles

This is nonsense. Do the calculations with equal mileage assumptions and calcuate for all the costs and you'll see the Prius comes out far ahead. The number of Hummers that will actually be driven for 300,000 miles is vanishingly small and I would bet that most Priuses will last longer than Hummers. They're built better for one thing. You're essentially posting an internet myth here and pretending it has some validity.

Shooter & others

There are plenty of non-muslim American terrorists that operate on American soil. Look at the Oklahoma City bombing, the Olympic park bombing, the shootings done in DC a few years ago, the bombing of abortion clinics, the shooting of abortion doctors, the burning of black churches, lynchings, etc...

Shooter242 --

carburnings as sport

Go to Columbus OH, after any Buckeyes football game, you'll see plenty. I'm sure the same holds true near other big sports schools.

sysprog --

There are plenty of Christian wackos favoring violence in "defense of Christianity. Look at the idiot that was preparing bombs to stop protesters at Falwell's funeral. Look at the anti-abortion terrorists. Look at the KKK.

Golden Boy --

Try a poll of how many support the KKK or some of the Neo-Nazi groups here in the USA. I'd bet the poll #s won't seem all that different.

China not only says they'd use nuclear weapons first in a conflict, they say they'd use them on Taiwan, which they claim is their territory, effectively stating that they'd first-strike themselves.

The US has not stated they'd use nuclear weapons first in a conflict since they were used in WWII

Rummy & Wikipedia

Are these official policy of the US or just the rambling wishes of madmen?

In other words, the official wishes of madmen or the ones they harbor until they can find some way to make them official.

First strike

I would like to see corroboration from another source that this is indeed offical policy and not just a draft as it is referred to elsewhere. I'm not saying wikipedia isn't valuable, one should always have multiple sources in determining the validity of a statement.
