I thought the same thing while watching the game. Packers are on the 1, they have 4 downs, they'll run at least twice and probably get a TD. Instead they passed and I started cursing. However, they had run essentially the same play earlier and scored the TD. They likely thought that everyone in the world was expecting the run, just as I was, and that they'd scored with this play from the 1 earlier, so it was a good shot. In retrospect, I don't think it was a bad play call, just a lucky deflection by Buffalo. Not that the defense didn't make a good play, but to have deflected it and have it pop up where someone can intecept is lucky. Having it fall to the ground, go out of bounds or be deflected where no-one or a even a Packer could grab it were all possibilities. The Packers beat themselves in this game with lots of errors.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Favre chasing the all time TD record was a part of the coaches decision. Not that he cares about the record for its own sake, but because it generates press and press generates revenue. Favre getting 14 more TDs this season also reflects well upon the coach and will boost his stock. I don't think it was the main reason they went for a pass play, but it was probably a contributing factor.

They notice, but most of the time they either don't care or they look the other way. Hell, male rockers ripping up hotel rooms is almost a rite of passage at this point. I say they're frightened by women that don't act submissively because of the name calling and anger that goes with their denunciations. You don't like her music? Fine, say so. You don't like her behavior? Again, say that. Starting out both complaints by calling her a whore? You've got problems with women.

I never said Courtney was a female Mick Jagger, just that her behavior is really no more outragious than his. Sure, the Rolling Stones were just Beatles wanna-bes and made some truly wretched music in their attempts to never ever retire, but I wouldn't say Courtney was a female Mick Jagger. For one thing, she's likely slept with fewer people, done fewer drugs and destroyed less property.

You want someone to defend Paris Hilton? Fine. She doesn't deserve to be called a slut on national tv. An idiot, sure, but calling her a slut is just a cheap shot.

Part of the reason I say calling women sluts and whores is either a cheap shot or irrelevant is that there is no male equivalent. Terrel Owens is disruptive to the teams he's on and is as ass. Paris Hilton is an idiot. Courtney Love seeks attention almost any way she can think of. I'm not saying any of these people are to be emulated, I'm saying there are ways to say you don't like what they do without immediately jumping to generic denigrators.

Courtney, for example, don't think she can sing? Fine. Can't play guitar? Writes crappy lyrics? She isn't actually punk? Sure. A case can be made for all of these. I happen to disagree with them, but they're valid points of discussion. Starting out by calling her a whore or a slut is essentially saying you don't really have any way to articulate what you don't like about her. You're complaining about her being rather than her music or her acting. By using a term without an equivalent male term you immediately say that what you don't like is that she's a she.

I mentioned the Rolling Stones and you're pretty vague, prefering to pretend you're laughing at everything instead of posting any actual content. Courtney is Punk. I said why in an earlier post. Add to her behavior that her music is Punk and I think the result is that she's a Punk. Why don't you tell me how she isn't? I'm actually curious why you think she isn't. How in the world would you catagorize her music if it isn't Punk? And don't say "crap" 'cause that's a cop out. Crap heeds no genre boundries.

You've confirmed what I suspected. You haven't a clue. Wouldn't be surprised if you've never heard anything she's done. You're a troll posting random phrases to "laugh" at, trying to belittle others opinions without offering one of your own. You run away just like a Repulican, well done.

You slipped up though, by pretending to laugh at Hole being Punk, you show you don't understand what Punk is, henceforth you can be ignored. Feel free to post more about how you're "laughing" at something. Since you have no opinion of your own, you're essentially a bot.

San Franciscans will likely feel the way New Yorkers did when the Jets Stadium got shot down and the city's Olympic Bid went with it. A few complained, a few were happy, most said either "meh" or "We were trying to get the olympics? Who needs the traffic?"

She believes in astrology? Why am I not surprised. She's as much of an intellectual as George W. Bush.
