[Read more letters about this article: Here]... but on another note, isn't the "bald with a goatee look" about as out as out can get? Mullets at least have camp appeal.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"I am 69 years old." "Not with that boogie board, you ain't!" I laughed 'til I almost choked on my Coke.

Perspective
[Read the article: You must remember this]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Sixty-two years ago, the greatest conflict in the history of humanity came to an end... The most appalling genocide ever had taken place."
Hitler's final solution was indeed appalling, but unfortunately it was just one of many genocidal agendas in the history of the world. And all are equally appalling.

If you're not part of the solution, LW ...
[Read the article: Ellen, the dog bullies and me]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]1. I propose that we clothe and educate dogs and cats. This will help them be happy and in touch with their feelings. If you don't agree with this, you are obviously a hateful bigot. Let me put it this way: I assume that animals have feelings (though I can't actually prove it), and therefore we must spend much energy making sure that these feelings are massaged and not hurt. Then we will have finally solved the pressing issue of domestic animal happiness and contentment. (This also means we have to let them keeping shitting on the floor. I can vouch that floor-shitting makes many dogs happy regardless of other factors.)
2. I assume all the shelter defenders here are strict vegans, right? Because unless the answer is yes, the hypocrisy on display is mind-boggling. Sort of like Salon-reading urban elites who would never kill, skin, gut, etc. an animal but are happy to eat a tasty animal after other people (non-Salon types, mostly) do the messy stuff.
Perfect. An obvious believer in the propaganda that says liberals are goofy dips who's minds are so open their brains have fallen out. And since s/he couldn't find any letters here that prove his/her stupid convictions, s/he had to write one his/herself. Now s/he can read it and point to it and say, "See what I mean? Liberals think this way."
Um, it doesn't count if you write the letter yourself, boob ...

[Read the article: My boss forwards fluffy kitten e-mails!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I too hate the silly bogus "forward to 10 more people or your face will blow up" e-mails.
But don't mess with the fluffy kittens.
I subscribe to the internet because of the cute kitties. I need those kitties. Lolcats, cute videos, all of it.
Don't dis the felines. And please, don't take my kitties away.

[Read the article: TV Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... but when I saw it, I thought it was dumb.

A quote from author Katharine Dunn ...
[Read the article: I'm an existential artist. People just don't get me!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... sums things up perfectly.
"There are those whose own vulgar normality is so apparent and stultifying that they strive to escape it. They affect flamboyant behavior and claim originality according to the fashionable eccentricities of their time. They claim brains or talent or indifference to mores in desperate attempts to deny their own mediocrity. These are frequently artists and performers, adventurers and wide-life devotees.
Then there are those who feel their own strangeness and are terrified by it. They struggle toward normalcy. They suffer to exactly that degree that they are unable to appear normal to others, or to convince themselves that their aberration does not exist. These are true freaks, who appear, almost always, conventional and dull."

[Read the article: WayLay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Poor little brain. Come over here; I'll be your friend.
-
Nah
[Read the article: WayLay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How many of youse "Brain Lovers" are really just brain-eating zombies?!
Balderdash. The thrill of the chase is almost more than half the fun in eating brain. Domestic just isn't the same as game brain.
But some of us zombies like to keep a little brain pet around the house, just for companionship.

Ha ha, nice!
