Its Not So Much a Lack of Experience

as her utter stupidity. She had to go to six different schools just to get a degree in journalism. My niece is getting a degree in journalism, by attending only one school. My niece is a very nice girl but is "dumb as a box of rocks."

We've had eight years of dumb and can't take any more.

Palin Is a Dog that Can Walk on Her Hind Legs

I listened to her interview this morning and when you don't have to look at her, you will find that she sounds like a parrot or a circus animal trained to say some words in response to canned questions. Any correlation between her words and reason or thoughtful analysis is purely coincidental.

Good Lord--why or why do we have to endure more of this idiotic crap? My fellow voters have made me ashamed to be an American.

Track Is a Drug Addict--Bristol Was Kicked out of the House

The National Enquirer is hardly a bastion of mainstream journalism but they do know their tabloid. They get this kind of stuff right:

Time magazine had an article on Palin last week and mentioned that Palin was aware that she was carrying a Downs child before he was born. She did not tell anyone else. This explains why she waited so long after her water broke to go to the hospital, and actually travelled from Texas to Alaska before entering a hospital.

and The Automatic Earth. Read that blog every day for some idea of what is to come.

Interest rates are approaching zero but there is no money for credit. Will we go hyperinflation or depression-style deflation? That's the choice right now. The public has been asleep way too long. Its not about raising or lowering taxes or increasing or decreasing spending. The US government is flat broke and the rest of the world knows it. Our credit is no good.

The next step is is that foreign interests will come in and collect their due. They will buy up assets worth anything--including farmland and water and devalue the rest to zero. Thanks to Bush, they already have our technology and know how.

If McCain-Palin are elected, it will be the end of the US as we know it. Our country will be just another third world banana republic. The intellectual capital will leave en masse leaving the rednecks, hillbillies, suburbanites to fight for the few scraps left.

Good luck suckers. Pray to Jesus. If the rethugs win again, I am out of here too.

One Problem with Palin Is Not Her Five Kids

Its that she could not even do that job right. The oldest kid is a drug addict, in the military to either dry out or to hide him from the public. The oldest daugher is "knocked up" and about to be forced into a loveless, shotgun wedding. The youngest child is a statistical probable result of a late, irresponsible pregnancy.

Just as Bush could not succeed in business, Palin could not even succeed in raising a family. She will multi-task her way into the final destruction of the country. Just as everything Bush touched turned to S*#t, so everything Palin touches turns to the same stuff.

hootowl, I hope your house is paid for

If not, you and all of your little suburban housewive friends hailing Caribou barbie will be living in your cars--until they are re-poed too.

This is what the puppetmasters of McCain/Palin have in store for you:

"Capital must protect itself in every way... Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principle men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us except as teachers of the common herd."

Original article: Obama comes out swinging

We are at a Watershed Moment in History

If Obama/Biden win there is hope for saving the United States as the country we know and love. It won't be easy or painless, but there is a chance that we will come out on the other side okay, and if we do it right, stronger than ever.

If McCain/Palin win, its all over. 2008 will be the last democratic election this country ever has. The lights will go out on the shining city on the hill forever.

AIG Supposedly Has a Trillion Dollars in Assets

If it has a trillion dollars in assets, why does it need government help? What kind of liability does this company have--more than a trillion dollars? If so, it is not too big to fail but is to big to bail-out.

Morgan Stanley in Talks to Sell Itself to CIC

The Financial Times is now reporting that Morgan Stanley is in talks with China Investment Corp. to sell at least 49% of itself. I never thought I's see the day but once we walked the road of eye-popping indebtedness to China, it probably became inevitable.
