• Don't Expect "Change" from Obama

  I am seriously considering simply not voting in the November election now since the candidate I hoped to support has sold out our democracy for no good reason and made all his rhetoric about "change" just that -- simply rhetoric. I am disgusted with both parties since neither party seems to care one iota about what is best for their constituents. And if this legislation is passed, I'm closing my account with AT&T and finding another vendor for my telephone. This country has become something other than a democracy -- it's of the corporations, for the corporations and by the corporations. That's what this war is about, that’s why so many people are facing starvation all over the world and that’s why we’re in a recession – Greedy, self-serving, corporations that have infiltrated and tainted our government and they’re working on the rest of the world too. And none but a small handful of our representatives in Congress can be counted on to uphold the Constitution or the Rule of Law. No, laws only apply to us individuals, not the government or the corporations. I say, if they don't have to abide by the laws, then neither do the People.
