I would like to know what power does Palin possess? She can only do what she is told. She cannot speak unless the boys give her permission. She read her speech like a good litle girl at the conference. She is being use to divide this already divided country. What has she done for Alaska? She seems to possess a Bush bullish mentality and when the good old boys have used her, they will discard her. John McCain has sold his soul in order to win an election, and Palin and the religious right has nothing to do with the true teaching of Christianity. Wake Up America! Our country is sinking, and all some seem to worry about is a fake so call feminist; this is a disgrace to the real feminist.

McCain is just doing what he does best and that is use women. He used his first wife Carol, he used Cindy and her riches to advance himself, and now he is using Palin and all of the women who are ready to vote for a woman that they know absolutely nothing about. Another point I must make and that is if Pelosi et al. had use the power of impeachment, we would not have to be dealing with the Rovian attack squad. Rove should have been arrested when he did not show up when he was subpoena, but the Democrats have let these crooks get away with criminal acts, so now we have to deal with their distraction, deviousness, lies, corruption, malfeasance, and Draconian and Machiavelllian style tactics. One thing I can say about the Bush administration and that is it is the gift that keeps on giving, and McSame is another product of the Bush regime. Wake up America!

I hope that America will open their eyes after tonight, and God helps us if this woman is voted in. Andrea Mitchell seemed to think a woman interviewer may have been better, but Putin, Chevez, North Korea, Iran et al. are not women. These leaders mean business, and now we have McCain playing with the lives of our people by choosing someone who has not a clue. These are world leaders, and its like sending out a kitten to fight with a pit bull. Palin stated that she is a pit bull, but she is out of her league. She may have the people in Alaska under her feet, but this is the world stage. McCain has made a terrible mistake, but America does not have to be a part of his madness. Putin is now taunting Bush and and Chavez has given America's ambassador 72 hours to leave. Since Russia has sent its Military to Venezuela because Putin alleged that our warships sent aid to Georgia, Chavez has decided to play the bully. Now we have a person who has been given a crash course in foreign policy 101, and she has failed miserably. Palin needs to return to Alaska and straightened out the mess she has created there because this is the big league, and she is not equipped for the task. I fault McCain for this madness. It seems as if he will do anything to win, but he has gone to far; this is truly a case of the bridge to no where, and America should say NO THANKS!

To the women who support Palin please look beyond the sexism and racism and see the truth. Your sons and daughters will be sent off to endless wars. You will continue to spend billions of borrowed money and your children and grandchildren will pay with their blood, sweat, and tears. You hockey moms may no longer be hockey moms because your schools can no longer finance these sports and recreational programs. Gas prices will continue to rise as well as foreclosures. International problem will escalate, and Putin means business. When the hostages took over the theatre, Putin had no problem in gassing the hostages as well as the innocent. Iran, North Korea, Afghanstan, Pakistan, Cuba, Venezuela et al. are no friends to America, yet your focus is on a woman who has no knowledge nor wisdom, yet proclaims God is speaking to her when Christianity opposes all of Palin's belief and doctrines. Read the entire 23rd chapter of Matthew, and James, chapter 4:1-3 and I Samuel and the entire chapter 8, and one will find the religious right and Palin hermeneutics and exegesis is totally warped. Also, Palin asserts that her son had the independence to chose, but women have no rights, especially in reproduction. Rape in Alaska is the highest in America, and what has Palin done about it. According to the state records, she has not aided the women. McCain is not more of the same, its worst. Finally, God hates many things, but lies is at the top of his list, and the McCain/Palin ticket is based on lies, especially the earmark funds and the bridge to nowhere and her abuse of power et al. Wake up America. You may think that you can relate to her, but stop, look, listen, and think, and leave your emotions at the door. I hope you see the real Sarah Palin before you place this woman in a position that will drastically alter every life in America.

Todd Palin is no Eleanor Roosevelt and in 1921 Roosevelt contracted polio, and Eleanor stepped in because of his paralysis, and there was a genuine need. Todd is a conflict of interest because of his employment with the oil companies. Eleanor's passions was social needs and she became a viable and effective liason. Many have benefitted from Eleanor's intervenions, but the question is who is benefiting from Todd's intervention in state matters, especially with his strong arm tactics and intimidation? Please do not compare Eleanor Roosevelt to Todd Palin. I suggest that you read America A Narrative History by George Brown Tindall and David E. Shie, and one will find a wealth of informative data regarding Eleanor's role in the presidency.
