  • Ripened fruit tree

[Read the article: Sunday morning at Saddleback Church]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It was very interesting that one man compared Sen. Obama to fruit on a tree, a green apple that needed to ripen for about ten years. Futhermore he asserted that John McCain was like a ripened apple and ready for picking. Sometimes fruit ripens and looks good from the outside but when the fruit is picked, taken home, washed, and cut open, it is rotten to the core, and it is not fit for human consumption and has to be thrown out. Also, there are fruit trees that are fakery, similar to the fig tree with all the lush green leaves, yet had no figs, full of pretense and Jessus cursed. Finally, not all great men are wise and neither do all aged men understand judgment. 7amosprop

  • Faith Caucus

[Read the article: It's Obama time!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In reference to Sen. Obama's faith caucus, I beleive that he is embracing inclusiveness. Although he is being fair, I hope and pray that this will work out for his good. I also beleived that going to Saddleback was poor judgment, but I do admire him for his bravery; however, Rev. Warren was not forthright and attempted to blame others when he was caught in his fabrication of the cone of silence. So in the end, Sen. Barack will be remembered for having the audacity to show up, even though the playing field was rigged.

  • Its over

[Read the article: Clinton, Obama camps reportedly still feuding]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If the Clintons really care about America, it is time for them to unite and realize that we are facing one of the greatest threats and challenge to America. This is not about fuming and appeasing their egos. This is about redeeming America from the hands of one of the most corrupt administrations in history, and we cannot wait another four years. Four more years of the Republican party will cause the fracture and implosion of America. The Clintons fought a tough race, and they lost. Now it is time for the delegates to focus on winning instead of petty arguments. A nation divided cannot stand, so everyone need to step up and make a difference. However, if the Clintons cannot unite, the Democratic party need to unite and take a stand against the Clintons and end their future changes for election. This convention is not about the Clintons, it is about America, and America is bigger than the Clintons.

  • A hard act to follow

[Read the article: What'd you think of Michelle Obama's speech?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Michelle's speech was superb! Her speech touch my inner soul, and the tears are flowing because she was truly authentic and deeply cares about America. Thank God for this extradionary woman who is sharing her life with us by the giving of her family to benefit us, we the people.

  • Mainstream Media still asleep at the helm

[Read the article: Warnings to Russia from Joe Lieberman and Lindsey Graham]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

One would think that after the Iraq debacle mainstream media would wake up, but they remain asleep at the helm while the war mongrels continue to cry for war. Mainstream news media was behind months in the reporting of the Downing Street Memos, and when they did report it, it was a two second report One wonders if this cry for war mentality is to stroke these politicians personal egos? However, it is we the people that are paying the ultimate price in blood and money. McCain's foreign policy is a train wreck, yet the mainstream news continue to focus on non-essentials. Anytime The National Enquirer breaks headlines on John Edwards while other mainstream media outlets are focusing on the so call bigfoot find in Georgia, its really pathetic. The reckless and corrupted bully cowboy Bush administration has brought us to ruins globally, yet history has taught us nothing. Lindsey and Liberman are constantly sending warnings against Russia's meddling in other countries, well how can we tell anyone anything afterall we did invade Iraq and made a mess of things. Also, McCain's lobbyist received enough money from Georgia, so this gave Georgia the impression that we were on the side, and they want returns for their big investment. Finally, George Bush claims to have seen Putin's soul, well he should have saw this coming, but Bush does not have to worry because mainstream media is asleep at the helm, and this mantle of covering has passed on to McCain and company. McCain, Linsey, and Liberman are fiddling while America sleeps.
