This is a garden variety marriage issue--not about bipolar & weed (her)or about stress & weed (him). This is about him doing what he wants and her not liking it. Why does she really care that he smokes? Has anything bad happened? does it happen constantly? Perhaps that is why he doesn't hide it. His excuses are lame. Why does he need an excuse? When is the last time he read her the riot act? do men read women the riot act? over what? is it acceptable?

If this woman really is going to walk away from this marriage, then she better know exactly why she is walking away - for her own sake. she is walking away because he is being independent and she doesn't like it. i hope she is comfortable with that...

It's amazing that so many people get so angry over a reporter's questions. As if these politicians should not be questioned? They ought to be questioned!

-McCain will not change anything! unemployment will climb, the war will go on, torture will continue, people will continue to die from lack of healthcare, countries will stil hate us, Bin Laden will not be caught, education will suck.

But he will wrap himself up in a flag and claim his greatness. Palin will continue with her extremism.

Finally, an article that is spot on and accurate and based on research. Palin is an extremist, very much like the extremist that we fight in the Middle East.

This country was built on Freedoms. Freedom of the press, religion, privacy, etc. Palin is against all of these freedoms. She is for censorship, she is intolerant of other religions, she is against a woman’s right to choose, she is in favor of torture, she believes in ‘black prisons’, she is against people’s rights to an attorney, she is for illegal searches on innocent Americans…the list goes on and on.

There is one common thread amongst all extremist. They are under-educated with limited exposure to different cultures-Palin is no exception. She is a small town former beauty pageant contestant that has only traveled overseas once.

Countries get what they deserve.

If America puts Palin in the White House, it will truly be the end of the American dream. We will get in more wars, our economy will suffocate under the weight of the deficit, more Americans will die from lack of healthcare and our freedoms will continue to be pulled.

It's amazing to read that Palin is some energy genius just because she lives in Alaska. Do we think she knows where some undiscovered oil lives? Will America compete with OPEC because of Palin?

The facts are clear:

1. US consumes 25% of world oil and only produces 3%.

2. Part of the reason oil is so expensive is due to the weak dollar. Drilling will not change that. We need to pay off our national debt!

3. McCain is against drilling in Anwar (Palin is for it).

4. Even if we did drilling Anwar, it would take 5 to 10 years to produce 1 barrel.

Here is what we actually know about Palin:

- She is against all abortions (even in rape and incest)

- She promotes guns (including machine guns in cities)

- She is pro censorship

- She is against sex ed (despite the fact that her 17 year old daugter is now pregnant)

- She got her first passport in 2007. Been overseas once.

Obama was running for office for 2 years and went through 25 debates and collected 18 mm votes. He's written two books about his life story. He has been vetted quite well.

Obama is smarter that Palin (Harvard Law, Columbia > U of Idaho

Obama has better judgment: opposed the war. Palin does not believe in global warming! (she also thinks the world is flat)

Obama has better experience: lawyer, constitutional law professor, State Senator 8 years, Congress 2 years. > beauty contestant, sports reporter, mayor of tiny town, 2 year Governor of a vacant state.

It was confirmed that Palin was McCain's choice. She was never the top choice of anyone on his inner team. And what a choice it was!

We have the right to be picky. This is a big job (assuming she will be President if McCain wins in November). Why can't we ask for a smart, articulate, well educated, well traveled person with relevant experience in and out of government. How many resumes did McCain view? How many people did he meet with?

Let's raise a glass to all those high school kids that get married and have kids....
