[Read more letters about this article: Here]this so-called "thread" seems nearly spent -- until this month I'd never spent a half-moment of my life in the Realm of the Blog -- but how very quickly I discovered that Blogland is, in fact, filled with smarmy, rabid, frothing Ninnies who understand very little of life ... peppering their Rant with "facts" they badly mismanage in order to puff-up the hard-line politick they patriotically cling to with such Bug-Eyed Zeal --- One can only stand back, smile and ... marvel.
Well, here's the skinny on "Reality" --
Without fail, I've always sized up the Zealots on both the Right and Left with equal contempt. (both of ya's actually fanatasize that you're so very different from the other, when you're really out of the same narrow-minded press --- merely tainted in different colors). as was properly dictionary-defined earlier, both Wings of the Political Spectrum are filled to the brim with "BIGOTS" who wave the Flags of their respective Cause with equal Fury.
Listen up -- in "Two-Paarty America" there is & always has been a Political Pendulum that has dependably -- and without fail -- knocked the "Powers That Be" into a temporary holding bin labeled, "The Powers That Were". Such will always be -- and there ain't nuttin youz can do abouts it, Biggots. tick-tick-tick-tick ... hears it ??
The Great American Bigots (whether Die-Hard Republicans or Die-Hard Democrats) have, in fact, been quite powerless to decide the future four years of ANY ELECTION in American history, since the days of Burr & Hamilton. Such is not a difficult equation for any with even the most mediocre understanding of mathematics to grasp.
Both the Noisy Far Right and Noisy Far Left represent little more than a dispersed Ocean of Voters that time & again vote the same party line. They can be easily, and forever are, dismissed by the Party Leaders. Their support doesn't mean diddley-squat. And, as such, they're forever taken advantage of, like Cows in a Left Field or a Right Field, with Rings in their Noses --- pulled along by the Carl Roves of Each Party.
However, neither the Self-Serving Buccaneers of the Right nor the Well Meaning Bubble Heads on the Left will ever have hold of the Membership of my faction, the flaming Radical Far Center, whom each must depend on for Victory (always have, always will)
As for myself, I have been voting for Ralph Nader since I was a teenager (not for his seatbelt politics, but for his call of clarity that BOTH national parties are awash in Filthy Money Politics. Matters not if they be a bunch of Texas barbeque Halliburton-Enron stockholders or some State Dept official dashing out of the State Secrets office with damaging evidence up his pantlegs that might inform the People of where the Guilt lays over the Iraqi Question.
My bro's & my Sisters in the center are less inflexible than me ... and whenever the Jesus People on the Far Right or Loudmouthed Idiots on the Far Left speak up .... the Siblings are quick to run to the John Andersons, the Ralph Naders or the ... who was that other guy ... Popeye ... oh yeah, Ross Perot.
Bill & Ronald understood this paradigm perfectly ... and were rewarded with it. Herr Hillary has been coached to understand this too...
but the Dimwits of the two Wings ??? ... they'll never learn .... because they's stOOpid ..
