Why might it be ethical for a typical Sierra Club afficianado to support legislation that makes it a crime to destroy say, Unfertilized Eagle Eggs (or other 'endangered' creatures) but not ethical for that same afficianado to suppoort legislation that makes it a crime to destroy say, Fertilized Human Eggs ?

might it be due to the 'fact' that 'we' do not consider embryos to be fully 'human' ---- along the same lines of how the early 19th century courts considered Black Folk to be only 2/3 'human' (for Southern Democratic Congressional appropriation purposes, of course) --

as one who has never spent a day in church (my folks weren't bibble folk) -- and being the son of a pre-wade physician who advocated abortion rights -- the question has always beehooved me ---

in short .... is the world a black & white only world ??

and if not --- is this political season only a black & white political season ??

SHERIFF TAYLOR: "If any of the 3 contenders has a resume of record that affords them a place in the Great White House ... then so be it. -- And should McKlean, O'Blarney or the Frau only be qualified to serve as Secretary of Commerce ... well ... so be that. --- All we care about is expunging the disease of Tribalism -- Factionalism -- Feminism -- Semitism -- WASPism -- Nazism -- Socialism -- (looks up again at Socrates in the Judge's bench) -- " ... all save Platonism."
