50 years ago there were three networks broadcasting three hours of primetime a night, five days a week. now there's a zillion channels 24 hours a day; there's just not that much talent, in writing, producing, directing, acting, even marketing and financial management and personnel. it's a miracle when a good crew comes together; like heather puts it, the work of a more or less obsessive crank whose creation means more to him than his own future.
not meant to be rhetorical:
in this age of technology and wizard weaponry, why isn't it possible for israel to track the launching point of any rocket and limit strikes to that point at that time? via satellite, helicopter, awacs, some such? it's not like gaza is this giant place.
granted, the jr. rocketeers would just start launching from daycare centers and hospitals, but it couldn't be any worse than now?
Or at least to make the folks believe that, so that they won't notice that the Hamas leaders are sitting fat and happy driving around in convoys of trucks while they themselves are shivering in the cold.
